Excellent location very close to the beautiful town centre. Walking to the restaurants and main shopping street ( not very large) was easy and less than 10 minutes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to Nice and Cannes. We didn’t hire a car and used public transport which was cheap and efficient.

The hotel is shabby though clean. The sheets were patched up and the bath mat threadbare. The evening staff were very pleasant and welcomed us kindly and helped with parking and directions for the next day. The room was basic and clean. Bed comfortable.

If you want comfortable, clean and authentic accommodation, then this is it. The room is just the right size to make you feel comfortable. Modernly equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The location is perfect, on a small square where there is also an excellent restaurant that serves local specialties. Special kudos to Valerie who is extremely kind and accommodating. Thanks for everything Valerie!

The apartment was spacious and light, with all the cooking equipment we needed and a fairly short walk to the old town. The owner was friendly and helpful and gave great directions. It was cheap too 🙂.

Vence is under-rated when compared to its more illustrious neighbours Tourette’s and St Paul de Vence. But it is just as pretty and more interesting in what it offers. The main church is really interesting with its museum upstairs. Good choice of restaurants but book in advance as they get busy!

Vence is the most fabulous town.
Vence is the most fabulous town. It’s close proximity to Nice and the beach is a great advantage too. It has a brilliant selection of excellent restaurants of high standard. The overall character of the old town is spectacular. I cannot wait to revisit this amazing town.

There are many charming villages within an hour's drive of Nice. We have stayed in half a dozen of them. Vence is unpretentious, full of character and a place to return to. While it attracts tourists, real people live here and the quality of life is exemplary.

Vence very pretty Hill top town , in winter few tourists which is fine , but also many places closed . Restaurants which were open had few patrons ( we were only 2 in one place, Les Agapes which had good food ). 2 days is plenty.
The food is fantastic and popular with local people out for an occasion, which is often a good sign. The hotel is a small privately owned and family run business, with a wonderful traditional charm - really helpful and courteous. If you have a special request, just ask. Located only 50metres from the old town centre. Quiet road. Large bedrooms, genuine antique furnishings in abundance. We also stayed here last year and hope to go again. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Vence.
The hotel was lovely, and peaceful. It
was only a 5 min walk into the village with numerous lovely restaurants. The hotel rooms are quirky, the terrace and view over Nice was absolutely beautiful. The pool was lovely for a wee swim, and the owners were fabulous, lending us towels for the pool. They were exceptionally helpful and friendly in every way. Loved our one nights stay. Would definitely go back again.
Discreet and felt very comfortable. It is well thought out and had everything I needed. Nice garden setting but close to main road for ease of getting to main routes.
I managed to find some running routes near by in the woods and up to the local historical village on the hill Saint Paul de Vence.
We liked everything: the room, the balcony, the small quiet street, the city of Vence and especialy our hosts, Andrew and Lorna. We had a very good time at their place and this will be our headquarter for any trip to southern France.
Thanks guys for the lovely experience.
Staff is the friendliest we have found in any hotel in France and probably it is because of their commitment that this hotel is still up and running with style. Great to have free parking and swimming pool in this location. very spacious rooms with a terrace to sit outside
Loved everything about it, even though our room (the cheapest) was small. The hotel and surroundings are
GORGEOUS, the food was good and the staff was exceptional: friendly, efficient and helpful. Can't say
enough good things about it. Hope to return.
Very quiet place. Everything is new and of good quality. Very well equipped. Strategic location to visit places such as St Paul de Vence, Monaco, Èze, Nice, Gorges du Verdon.. the hosts are very nice people, always available to help us.
The owner went out of his way to help us. We arrived late after 8:45pm as we had problems with our car leaving the airport. The hotel was very clean and nothing was too much trouble. Position is excellent as you could walk into Vence.
Nice calm rustic place with good view. Place had everything you need for family stay. All locations like Cannes and Nice are short drive away. Vence itself is beautiful small town well worth visiting and is walking distance away.
A neat little hotel within very easy walking distance of the town centre. Peaceful location with views to the sea. Nice staff, and a very good breakfast, and great to have parking. Brand new bath rooms and spotlessly clean.
Everything very clean. For south of France a very good parking garage, even for bigger cars. Rooms very nice with comfortable beds and complete Kitchenette. Swimming pool had a nice temperature and was kept clean.
Hotel staff are superb..we arrived late and they offered secure underground car parking for the Ferrari with warm reception..In the morning thenconciergebwas so helpful about getting around the location..
The Hotel Diana is in a great location, with nice, comfortable rooms and a really friendly and helpful staff. Having private parking was also really helpful since parking in Vence can be a challenge.
The location in Vence was great. Steps from everything. The house was eccentric in a good way. Thierry was an involved host offering suggestions with his vast local knowledge. Very good breakfast.
The hotel, restaurant and staff were exceptional
An incredible experience and appreciated that the staff went out of their way to make us welcome and feel valued.
This hotel is perfectly located for access to restaurants, sights, and buses. The breakfast served the best croissants I had in a month in Italy and France.
