I would not write a review about a Hotel, but I felt so scr*wed over by the good reviews, that had implied that the Nemea Hotel was out of this world, that I was forced to put my experience‘s into words. It started on a Tuesday morning, at about 4 am. After travelling through the night I was dog tired and could not wait to get into bed. As I opened the door to the room, I could see that the pillows were untidily placed. As I pulled back the covers I noticed that the bed was shedding pubic hair. To add insult to injury, I was greeted by towels that were thrown on the floor, a sink that too had a hair problem and a toilet that was being used as a storage container for urine. I had come to the conclusion that the room had not been cleaned since its last occupant, who judging by the state of the room had been squatting in it. After waiting three hours for the reception to open, I was given an apology and another room. After three day‘s, I had observed what looked like beetles in the room. They seemed to be coming from the bathroom. It was not until I had seen them in the bed, that I realised they were bedbugs (by the way, after contact with bedbugs, you will know who your friends are). It was then that I had noticed blood leaving a small bite mark in my leg. I went down to the reception like a whinging Brit and politely informed the staff of the unwanted guest‘s with whom I was sharing my bed, and room. The apology from the staff was weak and pathetic. I must add to this, that even though I was being moved from room to room, my demeanor was one of politness. Others in my shoes would not have been so polite and maybe a hissy fit or even the threat of contacting thier Lawyer would have been more the order of the day. The next room was OK, but I was made aware that the heating was no longer working. It was April and the outside temperature was close to four degree‘s C.

It is the right place if you are the middle guy, not too...
It is the right place if you are the middle guy, not too city-type person but also doesn't like if it's too village. Public transportation is easy and reachable. There is also a big shopping mall to find some stuff.

Not really a 4 star hotel. Rasonable clean. Bathroom was dated and they provide very little in the way of travel toiletries which you would expect in a 4*. Also fridge did not work and staff generally were not that responsive

The place was nice with good connectivity to Paris.
The place was nice with good connectivity to Paris. Also location seems to be safe and there were malls and many restaurants open. All in all goo place but pick a good hotel for comfortable stay. Also recommend buying weekly Navigo discovery pass costing 27 Euro if you want to travel frequently in and out of Paris as it includes all 5 zones for travel in Paris in any type of public transport.

The location is ok, staff, some nice, some miserable
Main issue was the lack of towels. Considering I asked them if towels were provided in advance of us staying. We ended up with 2 towels per 3 people and they were not replaced even when I placed on the floor. No shower mat or towel, so the floor of the room got wet.
1st breakfast morning, no bowls, and we weren't late.
Duvet wasn't clean. They also had no spare pillow.
I've stayed in these hotels around the world. My experience here was of a 1 star hotel, not 2 stars.
Big hotel, well located. Ample parking. Close to tram and the main shopping centre. 30-45 minutes from central Paris by taxi, 60mins by RER. Plenty of restuarants 15 minute walk away. Reasonably well-equipped gym and a small pool. Top floor is "Privelege" with larger beds. Nice walks nearby in the woods. Helpful staff.
Even though the rooms were small, we slept very well. It was just a quick stop before getting to Paris and it worked for us. The morning staff was overrun by a huge bus tour who were greedy and demanding at the free breakfast. The staff handled the overeating and rudeness of the travelers very well.
Staff was friendly (the gentleman at the reception) and tried to help as much as he could, one of the 2 positive things about that hotel

Staff was very kind! It was a big surprise to get some gifts for our kids upon arrival. Rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area. And there is also a huge shopping moll next to it. Good breakfast!
The hotel is new and clean. Breakfast is OK but a bit expensive. We found the staff good, and one helped us with photos for our transport cards. Wifi was sporadic.
We had a car and location was perfect. We got to Paris city center in 30 minutes.
The hotel is next to great shopping center and has all the facilities nearby.
