The house was built nearly three centuries ago and retains the elegance and glamour of a fine home, of that era. There is plenty of parking, including immediately outside the front door. Our landlady was warm and welcoming, a lovely person. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, beautifully furnished to suit the period of the house. The bathroom, again spacious, had one of those footed baths that I love! it is equipped with anything a guest might need, during a stay. It is the first time, in my life, that I have felt as though I was staying in a palace. Breakfast was good, with orange juice, croissants and bread, butter and homemade strawberry jam. Coffee or tea.

We received a very warm welcome from Sonia. Our dog was welcome as well and even got her own water bowl and blanket, which was very considerate. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Sonia booked a wonderful restaurant nearby for us and gave us some tips for the area. A simple but very tasty breakfast with fresh croissants, bread, and homemade marmalade. It was a pleasant stay and thanks to Sonia's hospitality, I would definitely stay here again!

The hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Our room was spacious, lovely and very comfortable. Perfect location as the Wedding we attended was down the drive and 5 mins by car, which the hostess kindly drove us to in our panic of being late! (we were also able to check in much earlier to get changed, and dump everything - Mother & Daughter!!). Breakfast was good in beautiful farmhouse setting , outdoor space too and beautiful views all around. Perfect.
