So peaceful! Down a quiet track so though it wasn’t far off the motor way you couldnt hear it.
We were in the barn, had both bedrooms which was ample for a family of 5. No access to cooking facilities but used the 24 pizza kiosk (!) in the nearby town. A great stop off and wish we could have stayed for longer!

Lovely location right on the square and easy walking distance to all facilities. Lovely old building. Parking in the square right outside the apartment. Modern and stylish interior - probably best suited for two people but the sofa bed was okay for a night or two.. Very easy access to the property with very clear instructions given.

My girlfriend and I loved the stay. The greeting was exceptional and they were great hosts. We got the chance to meet another couple of British people and had some decent conversation and a nice meal.
The house is gorgeous and so is the garden.

Unfortunately the duration of our visit to Vaas was dictated by our need to get home to UK from our "Winter Quarters" in Spain.
The Corona Virus situation in the 3rd week of March 2020 was getting very serious in Spain and France and, while travel on the autoroutes was easy due to the empty roads, we were concerned that our accommodation and travel arrangements might be changed at the last minute.
When we pulled into Vaas we were pleasantly surprised to find
1 - that our hotel was open and expecting us and
2 - it seemed we had been transported back in time to a quiet peaceful village situated right on the Loire.
We were able to take a short walk from our hotel and found the "memorial to the fallen" near the large church and by the weir on the river.
The village has quaint little passages between some streets, passing between large old houses and overall a gentle vibe.

Stopped over for one night as near autoroute on journey from Archachon to Calais. Didn't arrive until after 8pm so thought we had missed restaurant but staff were fantastic. Had a wonderful evening meal. Rooms were comfortable with en suites. One double room for adults and triple for children. We also added breakfast. Wifi in rooms. Parking for car with roofbox and additional parking immediately across from hotel. Would definitely visit again and will look out for other Logis

Really easy place to drive to on our way to the ferry at Caen. Easy parking, pleasant town. Very friendly people and helpful in the hotel/logis.
We were shown to our room and the host explained how everything worked.
Dinner was very good and staff were very nice.
Breakfast was good with great croissants.
