The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The staff were kind enough to let us know in advance that there was a wedding happening but it didn't cause us any problems. The underground car park was a bonus.
The location is very central, next to a nice square with cafes and restaurants. As it was busy on Saturday night, we ate in the hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our meal.

This was a rather lovely rustic-meets-Scandi-style bed and breakfast about fifteen minutes drive from Angoulême city centre. It was the perfect combination of quiet, countryside location with lovely walks, and handily placed for nipping into the city. Good breakfast, very friendly staff, and big, comfortable bed, with great quality linen.
