The hotel setting is lovely; like being in a park. Staff were fabulous and the room was spacious, as was the ensuite. Parking was easy. We were given a list of restaurants to try - we headed to the area near Juno Beach Courseulles-sur-Mer sur mer and had a lovely meal at Le Comptoir Crémaillère - which wasn’t on the list but it prob should be added to the list. 😊
Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Chateau des Chevaliers de Grand Tonne is situated in Sainte-Croix-Grand-Tonne in the Lower Normandy Region, 47 km from Deauville.
Gaiety and elegance are the two words which automatically spring to mind to describe this magnificent 18th-century chateau, a listed building set amongst exquisite French gardens and parkland.

Fortunately we travelled by car so the hotel was in easy reach of Bayeau, Caen and the Normandy beaches. The food at breakfast was good and the quality of the food in the restaurant was of good quality. The hotel was in good order, clean and most of the staff spoke good english.
Set in Bény-sur-Mer, 6.9 km from Juno Beach Centre, Hôtel 4 étoiles Château - Domaine de Coeurmandie offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

Hospitality is great of the owners. They are happy to going the extra mile. Location is perfect close to Caen, D-Day spots and Honfleur is even 43min drive so not that far.
Breakfast very complet with great self made patisserie, fresh orange juice. Restaurant food is great with perfect bbq or fruit de mer fresh from the fish market
Between Caen and Cherbourg, near the exit 36 on the N13 motorway, Hotel Ibis Budget Bayeux is just 13 km to the D-Day landing beaches.

This is a really conveniently located hotel, just off junction 38 of the N13 and really easy access into Bayeux. The Staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and has comfortable beds. There is also a handy restaurant next door, which was basic but good, especially when you have been travelling and don't want to hunt out somewhere to eat. We would definitely use this hotel again.

Very good location, very quiet and picturesque, and excellent location but no shops or amenities within easy walking distance. You need a car. (There are a couple of bakeries and a restaurant within 15-20 minutes walk in neighbouring Creully, but a car is indispensible.)
