We got a wonderful room thanks to the gentleman at reception. We booked a different room but he recommended a different one as we have a dog. We really enjoyed the room and location. The restaurant is the best in the area. The price/quality is amazing and lovely waitresses.

Location is stunning!! Beautiful Dordogne at it best.. outside pool, good parking, good out door seating, quirky interesting interior.lovely dining room, breakfast was best we had on our trip for variety and quality..really good shower..the hosts were helpful and passionate about the service they were providing

Exceptional Hotel , Perfect location for visiting a multitude of exceedingly interesting and beautiful locations eg Sarlat de Candida, the Dordogne valley , river with its numerous chateaux and sporting activities. The welcome was very warm . The facilities are set in beautiful grounds and the food ! What can I say absolute " Heaven" if you like FIVE STAR local french cuisine. Having stayed at hotels that were rated much higher this hotel can hold its own with the very best . Our room was spotless and the linen / towels were of the best quality and the decor of the room charming. Should be Four Star minimum.

Thonac is a great place in Dordogne, connected to nature and close to everything. You need a car there though as there is no public transportation really. But it’s ok, because when you will see how many amazing places you have on the way and you need to stop all the time to take pictures- you couldn’t do that when going by bus :-)
