Very large holiday home for this price. We had everything that we needed. The library also has some books for kids. The garden has nice loungers to enjoy some sun.

The food was good when the kitchen was open and over the 3 nights we stayed the kitchen was only open for dinner on one occasion and not at all for lunch This was not obvious to us at the time of booking. Recommendations from reception for alternative restaurants within the vicinity were minimal and directions were poor. Lunch Bar snacks and drinks were available but there was no one to serve them. We had to ask reception to serve the snack which looked as thought they were made by the constructions workings

Lovely staff who were very helpful especially as I arrived early. My room was one that was yet to be refurbished so it was simple, but clean and all I needed for a nights sleep after a days cycling

Taupont has a very good bakery and an excellent pizzeria where you can buy excellent food. I can’t emphasise enough how very good the food was at both places. There is also a small general store.
The downside is it is a very small village and is not that close to a town where you can access other facilities. I stayed there because of an accommodation booking where I had a bad experience. While you can get really good food in the village, you would only go there for that reason. It’s really a village that services the local farmers.
