The room is great. The breakfast was great, with local made bread. The only problem that we encountered was the noise from the air con in the room. We talked to the staff. They were very helpful and reacted promptly. However, it was the peak season and summer was really hot. They could not make the generator quiet. It was a good location in the middle of Colmar, restaurants not very far away at all either! 1 was literally around the corner. Parking was good and was free too!

There are a few things to do in Sundhoffen, but the biggest advantage of the place is it's excellent location - close to Colmar, the Vosges, the Rhine river and not too far from Strasbourg, it is very central and perfect for day excursions.
There are also a number of buses which passed the property that go onwards to Colmar, so it is handy for people without a vehicle - however failing this, you would ideally need a vehicle to get around (for example, there are not any shops close-by).
