Very pleasantly surprised - considering that it describes itself as a Chambres d'Hotes (bed and breakfast), it far exceeds my experience of CdH's generally in France - I have stayed in far less comfortable hotels for similar prices. Right in the centre of the old town close to the castle (closed for renovations) an old fashioned tall townhouse with steep staircase Helpful friendly host and free parking in a local underground carpark was a bonus. Great selection for breakfast served around a shared sitting room table. Good to have our own separate sitting room as part of our ‘suite’ with small fridge, kettle, and even bottle opener and chopping board.
