The decor (lots of Buddhas) might not be to everyone's taste, but this is not a hotel run by some huge corporation, it is someone's home, and presents the discerning guest an opportunity to break through some of the barriers tourism is meant to bridge but often seems to reinforce.
For a stop-over, this place is so much better than a motorway-hotel. Clean, roomy and powerful private shower, with good towels. A well-equipped kitchen with complementary tea and coffee. A couple of shops and village restaurants nearby. A nice stroll along the Rhone. definately recommended.
