The breakfast was very fulsome, more akin to substantial German or English breakfasts. This was much apprecisted as we were on a bike tour.
The accommodation was in the centre of Agen so there were plenty of restaurants to choose from, for dinner.

If you are cycling then this location presents a challenge as it is 2km up a step hill, BUT well worth the effort. It is a quiet location with brilliant views and the hosts are the best. Dinner costs €29, but it worth ten times that. The food is cooked in house to the standard of Michelin 5 star. We have never dined so well. The rooms are cosy.

An interesting and characterful building, run by great staff who clearly care. Evening meal taken out side was great as was breakfast. A good sized pool with towels provided was a nice bonus. Hotel was clean and secure parking for motorbikes and cycles. Good opertunities from the hotel to walk or run by the canal.
Good location near to the Garonne canal cycle path. A lovely quiet hotel in pretty grounds. We were late arriving and the staff were very friendly and helpful storing our bikes for recharging and providing a most excellent dinner. Breakfast was very good - fresh cooked scrambled eggs and bacon!!
Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. It is an old 17th C building wonderfully and sympathetically restored into a comfortable hotel some 30 years ago. All staff were very welcoming and helped with luggage up those stairs. Book a ground floor room if possible.
The location, close to a city call Agen, and plenty things around to do.
The hotels has a small bar and a terrace which is a nice area to enjoy a drink. The restaurant is great, staff is great, food is great!
