The hostess was incredibly helpful and friendly, she went the extra mile… the property is located in the beautiful countryside with a lovely town 5min from the property. The authentic French style building was beautiful with a pool for your convenience. The interior beautifully and stylistically decorated and very comfortable. I slept very well and peaceful.

Very nice place in the countryside. The furnishings we're lovely designed. The breakfast came with juice, fruit salad and home made jam, very tasteful. Also the recommondation for Dinner was excellent. We would always stay there again.

Salles is the loveliest little French village with great shops and authentic food. The local shop owners made us very welcome with my Year 7 French!
Loved our 2 nights here as a stopover from Paris to Spain to recharge our batteries and get our heads around driving on the “wrong” side of the road. Would definitely stay in Salles again.
This is an excellent hotel, situated within a large beautiful garden. Very comfortable and quiet room, and an excellent restaurant within the hotel where we enjoyed a lovely dinner for a friendly price. On-site secure parking and only 4 km from the motorway (although you would never know as the hotel has a country-hotel atmosphere), were really convenient for us as we were en-route back home.
Location was fabulous. Host was really easy to contact and check in/out simple. It had everything we required and a short walk to great local shops for bread, pastries and delicious meats & cheeses. I’d come back to Salles for the village atmosphere and would definitely stay at Maison Farol again.
Perfect countryside setting within a quiet area, and easily accessible from Bordeaux, Salles and Arcachon road network. The houses are spread out so you have plenty of room and privacy. The outside bbq area was nice. Would come back again as but to a bigger cottage
Location for us is ideal to stop just before Bordeaux. We loved that it is a family run hotel and we were made most welcome. The evening meal was superb, a choice of set menu or A l’ carte. Pet friendly, dogs were also allowed in the restaurant.
