We were 100% satisfied with this accomondation. It is just two steps from the center of the pretty town of Sainte Mere Eglise, a quiet place with a big bonus: own free parking! We could even park there before the check in time, that was really helpful as we stayed here during the 80th anniversary of the landing. The owner is a very kind and helpful person, Our room on the ground floor was small but had a big window so it was bright, we had a nice comfortable bed, zero noise from outside, had a great sleep! Cleaning is well done all around, not only in the room but the whole place is well maintaned and clean. You can have a simple but good breakfast (tipical french) for a reasonable price and enjoy it in the nice dining room which has huge windows around so you have a nice view. I suppose at good weather you cna even enjoy it in small the terracce.
Were really appreciated that this place had a very correct room price even during the anniversary, very good value for money. We know that some places are making double or even triple price for those dates.... We are sure that we will return to Sainte Mere Eglise as this special place is definitely worth more visits and we would not hesitate to stay in this small and pretty hotel again!
Close to the D-Day beaches and Calvados, a region with a rich historical heritage and beautiful scenery, the hotel welcomes you in peaceful and green surroundings.

The most warmest welcome; and fondest farewell; I felt like I had spent my three days here with family instead of in a hotel. Absolutely lovley hosts. Each morning was greeted with a plentiful continental breakfast and good friendly conversation.
It is absolutely clear that the passion and enthusiasm that you both have for making each guest welcome into your home is equally as high for that of making sure they get to experience as much of the local history as possible during their stay.
My room "82nd Airborne" was great and slept so comfortably each night. As the location is 5 minutes walk from the town square the ambient noise outside is minimal during busy times.
Spacious bathroom and everything was spotlessly clean.
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated La suite features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The property has garden and city views, and is 28 km from Tatihou Fort.

Really nice and spacious suite, decorated with attention to detail. There was amble dresser/closet space and everything was clean and newly renovated. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow for us to sit in the beautiful outdoor area towards the back.
The breakfast was amazing, with homemade yogurt, crepes, fresh bread and eggs made to order etc.

The town is stunning and there are plenty of things to see regarding the events of D-Day. The Airbourne Museum is very well built and provides lots of thought-provoking displays. There is plenty of space around the church in the village square, which is kept in great order considering the amount of visitors it receives each day. There are plenty of cafe and restaurant options in the town. We arrived early (10am) and it was perfect, but the crowds soon arrived and by the time we left the museum at 12.30, it felt considerably busier.

Beautiful place but always a struggle to find somewhere to eat! Everywhere is either closed or closing!! Did find a gem of a restaurant though called “Les Délices du Cotentin”. Beautiful food and lovely staff, couldn’t have been nicer!

The D-Day Battle Tours group is headquartered here.
The D-Day Battle Tours group is headquartered here. That is a big plus for the village. The museum is worthwhile too. And walking around the town was a very pleasant way to spend an extra day. We were there in the fall when the crowds had thinned out. If I ever visit again, I will consider arranging bicycles to allow further wandering, without the isolation of a car.
We never considered that bus service would be unavailable on Sunday, our last day here. As a result, we were so concerned about getting to Bayeux that we cut our visit short to be assured of taxi service. But Allo taxi service was prompt, reasonably priced, and could have been scheduled well in advance. My mistake!

Restaurants are okay, not a party town, good if you are interested in WW11 history
Friendly locals who respond well to a smile and my very poor French so give it a try.

The town is very busy during the day with D-Day visitors. The Airborne Museum was excellent, if you are into that sort of thing, with interactive tablets that added a significant dimension to the experience. I had two and a half hours in there which was still not enough.
The town square is busy yet beautiful, if slightly dominated by tourist bars. I think the local market is on a Thursday.
Saint Mere Eglise is a great step off point for Utah Beech and the Cotentin Peninsula.

We had stayed at this hotel in previous years and was made very welcome. This time due to management change, of which we were not advised nor told about the later revised check in time of 1800 hours, we did not enjoy our stay and on talking to other guests they had the same opinion of the new management.

My first criterion was the location, which met my expectations for visiting the heart of Saint-Mere-Eglise. The hotel is modern and well-appointed. The hotel staff was accommodating and helpful. You can tell they are prepared to serve a large clientele during the peak tourist season. During my stay in mid-September, the hotel served a breakfast buffet, with plenty of items to choose from. My room located on the second floor was modern, nice, clean, and quiet.
La suite is possibly one of the nicest accommodations that we have ever used.
The house itself has been lovingly restored to its former glory in a manner which retains many original features.
Our host Florent was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, as well as just simply being a real nice kinda fella.
We will definitely not pass through Sainte-Mère-Église again without booking a room for a night or two.
Absolutely beautiful property.
This accommodation takes the meaning of being a guest to the next level! The owners are wonderful as too is the property. If you are visiting Sainte-Mere-Eglise for historical discovery Chambres d’hotes brings that alive with an authentic and hospitable feel. Thank you soo much. We loved the house and enjoyed your company and hospitality! 👌
Fairly basic hotel. Clean and tidy, room small, lacked coffee/tea facilities. Boss left at six so no access to small bar and needed code to get back in. Good that is was close to centre and good parking. Didn't stay for breakfast. Overpriced for what it is - paid €10 more for night before for far superior. Patron pleasant. Won't repeat.
room was very clean and spacious we arrived on a sunday restaurant and bar closed but did not stop us having our own drinks outside in the seating area had a meal the following night in the restaurant which was excellent .hotel is in a great location sainte mere eglise main square within walking distance would stay here again
Amazing gîte right in the heart of Sainte-Mère-Église,looking out onto the town square and church. Plenty of space and comfortable bedrooms. We'll stocked kitchen and enclosed rear yard for relaxing. Free parking in the church square with a residents disc provided by lovely owner,Mme Cousin.
The owners are very nice. The rooms are varie spacious, clean and very well decorated. This B&B is as good as a 5 stars hotels.
If you are planning to stay at Sainte Mere Eglise, that is the place to stay.
The restaurant behind the B&B is really good as well.
The hotel staff were very kind in accommodating both a late check out and late check in and in helping us get transportation to the train station. Great location for walking to the Airborne Museum. Nice restaurant and efficient kitchen and wait staff.
This is a fabulous budget hotel. Sebastian was a wonderful host and accomodated our late arrival. Breakfast was delicious and a great value. We would stay here again the next time we’re in the area!
Loading and Unloading luggage was easy. Short term parking right in front of hotel. Parking pass for the church parking lot. View of the Church Square. Places to grab a bite witching walking distance.
This was more an apartment than the rental of a room in a hotel. Very convenient for families with younger children and to explore a the area. Center of town is walkable.
We loved staying in a place with such rich history spanning centuries that was so peaceful and close to Sainte-Mère-Église. Breakfast was fabulous as well!
