The place is well located, just up the mountain from Grasse. Carole is an excellent hostess. She served us a simple but adequate continental breakfast. The separate shared kitchen is an excellent touch.

The hotel was in a quiet tranquil hill top village. Great Views. Staff excellent and welcoming, food superb. The menu was limited but this is not a criticism, as it ensures everything is fresh, but if you stayed more than a few days you would have exhausted all options. Rooms were good and excellent value for money.

A great little French village with two good hotels and the excellent Cafe Napoleon. The locals are all so friendly; English language varies but with pigeon French you will get by easily. There's even a local cricket club if that is your thing. Transport is easy from the coast as there is a direct bus or a taxi will cost about 40 euros from the nearest train station. If you like walking then there are some amazing hills which are often the site for seeing hundreds of parasailers and the odd confused buzzard. If you have a couple of days to chill away from the Riviera then this is a great choice. A final word of warning... do not book the property called "Maisonnette en résidence avec piscine et tennis" as it is awful and does not look anything like the Booking.com photos and the owner will refuse any refunds point blank.

This is a perfect place for walking on relatively flat country in the National Park just North of Grasse. There is a bus service to villages further up the mountain. Reasonable shops and cafe's, including a SPA supermarket.

Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay. The hotel's furnishings were old, but that didn't bother us at all because we had everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. We had clean towels, small soaps, and shampoos available, which was very convenient. The room was equipped with a quiet air conditioner, which is really important in the summer heat.
Lovely location in the village which has improved over the last few years. The bus from and to Grasse stops outside the hotel.
The rooms vary so if you get a good one as I did you will be happy.
Location, look, staff, big rooms, rich breakfast, own terrace and AC, big bathroom, lot of facilities around the hotel and very good starting point when exploring cities around.
