A wonderful stay in a most beautiful property. The room was amazing. More like a suite and looking out over the lovely garden. Breakfast was wonderful and Greta the perfect hostess. Hopefully we will return one day.

We received a very warm welcome from Sonia. Our dog was welcome as well and even got her own water bowl and blanket, which was very considerate. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated.
Sonia booked a wonderful restaurant nearby for us and gave us some tips for the area.
A simple but very tasty breakfast with fresh croissants, bread, and homemade marmalade.
It was a pleasant stay and thanks to Sonia's hospitality, I would definitely stay here again!

Saint-Severin itself isn't anything incredibly special (although it has many services that are very useful- gas, grocery stores, etc.)...but it is in a great location for exploring the area, and there are many wonderful villages and areas nearby. We stayed on our way between the Loire Valley and La Dordogne, and it was the perfect stopping point. The countryside is very beautiful- take the time to get lost on the backroads and stop at the historic sites that are well marked (but weren't on google maps).
We received an amazing friendly welcome by Sylvie the owner who is extremely attentive. The hotel and gardens are immaculately kept with many historical details and it is nestled within beautiful peaceful surroundings. The rooms are tastefully decorated, relaxing and the breakfast excellent.
The hosts, Sylvie and her Husband are the nicest and kindest hoteliers I have ever met. the breakfast was beautiful every morning. the rooms and communal areas spotless, and the grounds stunning and beautiful. what a find!
