Lovely staff who speak English and are friendly and helpful. This family run hotel is great for baseing yourself in the Le Mans area. We stayed here once before when attending the Le Mans 24hr and did so again this year. Good carpark too, with secured access, as the gate gets locked when the staff go to bed, but you get a key code to come and go as you wish.
The 3-star Brit Hotel Les Evens is located in the countryside with direct access to the A11 motorway. It is ideal for a stopover or a short stay in the area.

We were traveling to Biarritz having taken the ferry to Caen. Stopped late at night and this was a perfect place to break the journey and then continue our trip early the following morning.

Sadly we were part way through a road trip down to southern spain so did not get much of a look around, but talking to the staff at our hotel were suprised at the many things available in the area and around. next trip will be at a slower pace to really immerse ourselves in the local area and culture.

Ideally situated just off the motorway, ideal for speedy off and back on the following day. Good stopover with nice restaurant walking distance from hotel. Beds, bedding and towels were crisp white and spotlessly clean room.

Staff very helpful. We were travelling from Croatia back to home in Jersey and we didn’t arrive at the hotel until midnight. It’s always daunting to arrive somewhere late at night but you made it very easy and stress free and we could not fault the service we received.

It's very convenient for the motorway and had everything we needed. Little bedside lamps and tables make all the difference for an easy stay. The check in was convenient as we were late so could this via the machine easily enough (it had English as an option which was appreciated). Parking easy next to hotel too.
I received a warm welcome and offers of help. I travelled as a lone female. The disabled facilities in the ground floor room were perfect for me and everything immaculately clean. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was extremely quiet. Self-service breakfast was 8€. The room was excellent value.
Despite confirming the booking the day before and emailing to confirm what number we use for the door code out of hours, we arrived with a 4 year old and there was no booking on their system. A current booking on booking.com but no booking at the hotel. Someone's dropped the ball!! Very annoying.
Excellent meal prepared by the host, in my opinion it's more like a private residence than a hotel but that doesn't detract from the quality of the stay. Excellent 3 course meal with wine freshly prepared (even thought we were late arriving, 10pm). Only 5 Breakfast was excellent, would stay again.
French breakfast but really good with several breads, rolls, confiture and dessert. And finally enough for time to lunch.

Location was great for overnight stay just off the motorway with restaurants nearby. The Portofino restaurant which is 2 mins walk did takeout and also allowed dogs, 10% discount with hotel voucher. Breakfast was a plentiful continental breakfast dogs allowed. Friendly helpful staff.
Besides (good) rooms that you an expect in this price range, a good breakfast.
Hotel offers an own diner service, but in the nearby area there are plenty of other options to choose from.
Very close to the motorway, so handy if travelling to/from Calais. Window shutters for a good rest, a real dog friendly hotel that allows dogs at breakfast and has a comfortable bed
