I loved the decor, especially in the dining room and entry way. Big bold wall paper prints and solid mismatching furniture colors really brought you into the space. The room was a good enough size and the bathroom modern which was nice. Edges of the hotel seems a little worn down, curling rugs in the hallway, funky elevator, edging on the stairs, but it added to the charm, rather than detracted.
Breakfast was yummy.
The staff were most excellent.

This is an ideal hotel for people on their way to the south, needing an overnight stop just south of Lyon. It is a bit outdated, the room had a faint smell as if someone had smoked there ages ago (which I did not notice anymore after a few minutes), but everything you need is there: friendly staff, a clean bathroom with a bathtub, a gated parking lot, and a restaurant that is open on Sundays. I would stay here again if I need to stop in this area next time, good value for money.
