The hotel is right on the town square, but the room was exceptionally quiet for a Friday night. The staff were very friendly (and the receptionist spoke English). Good communication beforehand, re parking options.

Wow, absolutely loved this place. It was immaculate and furnished to a very high standard. Made use if the Weber BBQ and found the secret of the pink bunny :-)

Le Square is a self-catering, two-bedroom apartment located in Bourg-Argental town centre, 30 km from Saint-Etienne Train Station. Free Wi-Fi access is available, as well as luggage storage.
Regretably we could only stay overnight - the manageress was very welcoming and provided helpful advice for our trip into St Etienne. The hotel is well decorated with charm and the staff friendly and attentative.
Hotel in wonderful location with lovely walks around the lake. We had a very good dinner and the breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. Wish we could have stayed in the area longer.
