the rooms are fairly basic but very clean and functional. coffee and tea is provided, but no fridge. we ate in the restaurant which was absolutely fabulous.
breakfast was help yourself buffet, fresh produce but no cooked option. however it was still very nice

A charming ´chambre d’hôte’ in a quiet street of a magnificent medieval village. Besides being a talented mosaic artist, Brigitte is a top hostess who will do her uttermost best to help and guide you through the numerous activities available around St Marcel. One not to be missed is a visit to the local underrated archeological museum (Argentomagus). The delightful nearby city of Argenton is also accessible through a pleasant 30mn walk (don’t miss the roman amphitheater on the way). Its houses along the beautiful Creuse river are definitely worth seeing. A memorable stay!

This was a stopover on our way home, A very clean comfortable & spacious room
wth tea & coffee facility that was very welcome as we had had a long journey,
There is also a lovely restaurant were we had a delicious meal on the terrace
