Everything is very good apart from this apartment is based in the fourth floor with only access by stares.

Nice and clean apartment, it has all comfort. Very close to the airport and to the tram stop.
Convenient location at a very reasonable price. We were able to buy groceries and prepare some meals at "home" in the apartment. Everything was very clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I liked that it was very closed to Basel, Strasbourg, Colmar,, Bern and Freiburg, wich me and my family had visited with a hired car.
I did not liked the noise in the nights, form the airplanes (the airport is also near), but I still have slept ok.

I'm not a lover of big cities in any case. This place may be strategically located for the airport, but the area seems very impersonal - all high-rise apartment blocks with no character. I would avoid this area in the future, however. In fact, the door to the flat we rented had been visibly forced so I imagine that the crime rate is quite high in the area.

Saint-Louis itself does not have much to offer but the city is only a short distance by bus and tram to nearby Basel (a more expensive place to stay). It is also much closer than Mulhouse to the Basel-Mulhouse airport.

Great bakers & good range of takeaway restaurants 5 mins walk.. Aoartment block really quiet, but area nearby busy as any city with some infrequent train and airport noise.- but only during the day. Access to city centre very easy for both car and public transport. Would make it clearer this stay is (just) in France and not Switzerland for those who may have to declare goods or have travel visas etc
This is a straightforward budget accommodation in vicinity of Basel.
— very close to the airport. Only minutes away from St Louis train station, which also has a tram line running into central Basel. The bus to Basel stoops almost outside the house. Central Basel is about 20 mins away on public transport.
— patisserie downstairs serves amazing coffee and croissants.
— there is iron, fan, microwaves, sugar, tea, etc.
— the keys are very easy to find. There is no need to wait for the landlord to check in or to check out.
Our flight has been cancelled and this was the nearest reasonable hotel, friendly woman at reception (communicative in English) helped us with the invoice (needed for the airline) and taxi arrangement for the morning for our next flight, taxi driver was waiting at 4.30 as appointed, the transportation to the airport was free, room was clean, everything was clear and perfect, after very stressful situation at the airport we had only good experience with the hotel, thank you.
The host did not speak English, but was able to get someone to translate and arranged our transportation to the airport. The apartment is located very close to the train to Basel and a supermarket which made it quite easy not having a car. A lovely restaurant is on the premises. The host allowed us to leave our luggage on site before we were able to check-in so that we could go out exploring. The apartment was modern and clean and well-furnished.
The place is nice and tidy. The photos of the property are accurate. The instructions to enter the property were clear. The place is somewhere between Basel city, Euroairport and Saint Louis train station (which helps if you want to visit nearby places in France). Nothing is too close but close enough if you are willing to walk and use public transport. Much cheaper than Swiss hotels but still not cheap. The kitchen seemed fairly equipped.
This apartment is exceptional. The host, Betty, was welcoming and friendly; the accommodation was comfortable and very well equipped; the location -- just across the border into France, in the nice town of Saint-Louis, and with a tram just a few steps away direct to the centre of Basel ... really, it couldn't be better.
A charming historic building. An exceptionally attractive room with quirky furnishings - a very welcome contrast with bland chain hotel rooms. A huge bathroom with separate toilet. Charming and helpful reception staff who arranged free taxi to airport. A very good breakfast.
The location is perfect if you search for a place to stay for 1 night when you passing through. The location is also perfect if you need just a place to stay when you want a short trip to Basel. Bustrip takes only 20 minutes. Airport Bases bus trip takes only 10 minutes.
The hotel is one minute walking from the railway station of Saint-Louis. In this city is nothing to do, but there are frequent buses to Basel, The hotel is one kilometer from the Swiss border. There are some nice restaurants in town. The hotel self is nice and quiet,
The hotel have super location for travel he is close to airport, bus and train station. Have several little stores and great bakery near the hotel. Very friendly and staff is friendly to explain to you everything you need. Great deals for that money.
Very near to Basel, shopping possibilities in the neighbourhood. Very big apartment, with big rooms, ideal if travelling with other people. Dishwasher is also plus.

If you want to visit Basel but not pay the Swiss accommodation prices this place is perfect. It's located in Saint Louis, 5 minutes walk from a station and tramline which take you into Basel.
Modern, clean and very stylish studio. Nicely equipped! Private parking just behind the building, great for traveling with a fully packed car. Not far for the city center and airport.
