We like to stay at Ibis. Simple, small but comfortable. Always clean. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Buffalo Grill next door was a great place to eat and we got a 10% discount when we showed our keycard. Breakfast was good with several options.

The apartment is outside of the town but handy for visiting the WW2 sites. Communication with the host was clear. The living space and the bed were comfortable. The off street parking was great.

Amazing property stunning location
Pierre & Simone were so accomodating they booked restaurants and taxis for us and truly looked after us. The visit to the chapel was very impressive

The staff were helpful and friendly. We could not have asked for more.
The location is dreadful and it is such a shame in such a beautiful town that the sad bikers go round the hotel on a circuit all night. The local police are nowhere in sight.

Saint Lo is in a very central location of Calvados so making it easy to get to lots of other places such as Bayeux, Coutances, Avranches, Agon-Coutainville and Mont St Michel. The town itself has everything you need for a town break, museums, churches, history, good restaurants and lots of shops. They seem to have many shoe shops.
This hotel is very well located just outside the historic walled city of Saint Lo and close to the railway station and the cyclepaths. The room was exactly what you would expect from a Mercure - clean, comfortable and well equipped. We chose to dine out but the menu for the hotel restaurant did look interesting. Our bikes were stored in a meeting room on the lower floor. Although close to the railway we were not disturbed by noise from the trains.
Spotless hotel with very helpful staff, excellent location if you are driving. Good parking on site. Continental breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at a budget hotel - croissant and pain au chocolate were excellent! Buffalo Grill next door and McDonalds across the road so no shortage of places to grab a quick bite.
Well we arrived on bikes exhausted on the hottest day of the year (40c). The staff were sympathetic to our plight and made us comfortable. There's secure bike storage in a room inside the hotel. The bed room had air conditioning, so we managed to chill down and get a good night's sleep. Nice leisurely breakfast the next day.
Breakfast was perfect. This hotel not only offers a good variety of food and beverages. It sets a good example how to include sustainability at a hotel. Food that needed to be wrapped up for hygienic reasons had been wrapped up, others not. Cleverly solved! The breakfast area was clean and tidy and a nice place to stay.
I needed a bit more room as I had wet kit I needed to dry each day and there were no storage space or drying space apart from shower. Sink had no plug. Hotel was adequate for 1 or 2 nights but I was staying longer so I should have researched more. Hotel staff good and clean and tidy
The breakfast buffet was correct. There wasn't an extensive amount of choice but the products were fresh and from good quality. There is enough parking space for free and in front of the hotel.
Friendly, efficient, bi-lingual and helpful staff. Convenient location on arterial highway - easy access for car-borne travellers. Not a sophisticated hotel, but clean and comfortable.
Really helpful and friendly proprietor. Offered me space in secure garage at back of hotel for my bicycle. Good hotel for cyclists. Slightly funky decoration which I liked.
