The owner was very welcoming. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There is a lovely patio area for catching the afternoon sun. We took advantage of the table d'hotes, which was a regional dish, very tasty. And we had an enjoyable breakfast. There are shops in the town for groceries.

A small but charming town on the route between Limoges and Clermont Ferrand. Lots of old architecture and a decent range of small shops and restaurants. Away from the main road, it is very quiet and peaceful. It has an interesting-looking church but we didn’t have time to visit it.

We explored the town by foot en walked down to the small river where there is a tannery and we found wild raspberries just great! The local cemetery was worth a visit as was the restaurant across the road from it! We had a great stay and walk around and a lovely breakfast
