The staff was helpful and i was particularly happy they spoke german. My french language skills are poor and communicating in german makes things easy. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were good. I slept very well.
Note to motorcycle riders: hotel Kleiber does not have a closed garage to park your motorcycle. However, it has enough space to park your motorcycle, even, if you need it, under a roof (carport) Keep in mind, you need to order parking lot separately.
Breakfast included everything we needed, but was modest.
The big plus was the dinner... because of the nice weather, we could dine outside and enjoy a table BBQ.

Our expectations were low, as wel booked late and it was one of the only things that had a free room.
The hotel was a bit older as was the infrastructure. But it was really nice. Really comfortable and the staff was exceptionally nice. The hotel is in a lovely town that's easy to reach and from which you can easily go to other towns for the Wine-route.

Staff were friendly. We were able to store our bikes overnight in a locked garage which was helpful. Breakfast had plenty of choice. We also ate dinner here and the food options were excellent. Great quality and very reasonable prices. Definitely the highlight of our short stay.

An excellent room - large, clean, with all we needed - in a superb location, with a wonderful view over nearby villages, valleys and mountains. Our host Stefan was really welcoming and friendly - and went out of his way to respond to our odd requests. We strongly recommend this place to any travellers!
There's a (linked) hotel just 100 metres away where we had a very good dinner (there's breakfast too but we had our own).

The town was super charming!
The town was super charming! The homes are typically Alsatian with timbered architecture, garden gnomes, colorful murals and flower boxes abound. The church is lovely. I wish I had more time to explore.

Very nice place to stay. Large room with comfy bed. very quiet. Nice place to stop just 10 minutes from motorway. Nice are to sit outside. Evening meal and breakfast at Kleiber hotel just 5 minutes walk. Rooms are owned by same family. Advisable to book for meal as often they have groups of people staying and it can be fully booked. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Pleasant room with small outside space and lovely views over hills and village. Opportunity to use local hotel for breakfast and evening meal which were both excellent. Friendly and helpful owner. Close to motorway for stopover, although this area is so picturesque, deserves a longer stay and further exploration. We are looking forward to returning.
Room was excellent value for money, and the location and views fabulous. Excellent food available from the family run hotel which is only 2 minutes away on foot, again excellent service. Would definitely stay again if in the area, hopefully at a less damp time of year. Very Pet friendly.
The traditional, rustic feel of the restaurant and hotel building was in keeping with locality. The French village ambience with a hint of Germanic architecture makes Saint-Jean-Saverne a beautiful location, whether as a base whilst exploring the area or as a stopover on your travels.
A very cosmopolitan, family run hotel ideally located just off the A4. The highly efficient staff are multi lingual and extremely helpful. Kleiber attracts all-comers be they cyclists, business men, families or just passing tourists. Highly recommended!
Beautiful family rooms, run by the kindest staff ever. There's also a small playground for kids, and a great view. Dinner at the nearby hotel restaurant is top, they also have a nice wine selection. Will surely be back.
The hotel is a stopover for a trip from the Netherlands to Italy. Very nice owners, spacious clean, comfortable and warm room. The food in the restaurant is great (that's why we keep coming back if we make the trip !).
