All very clean. Spacious room. Close to motorway. Young chap very helpful when we slightly struggled with automated check-in. He sorted it even though he’d already finished his shift and was on his way out.

Full of character with period fixtures and fittings. If you want modern then this is not for you as the rooms are indicative of the time the property was built and first used. The restuarant and the food, (breakfast and evening meal), were superb. Just the right amount of options available, just enough and not overwhelming. It is almost unwritten that French food is fantastic but each time I sample it I am amazed at the attention to detail and quality.

The apartment was really spacious and relaxing with excellent parking and there was a large terrace where we could sit out in comfort and enjoy our last evenings in France. It was lovely to be staying in a property with so much history. The breakfasts were great. They were our last continental breakfasts of the trip before heading back to Scotland and they didn't disappoint. We were also given plenty of flexibility over when to have breakfast.
The location was ideal for us. We could have visited Versailles easily from there, but chose to visit Evreux, Chartres and Rouen (for the cathedrals) - all a straightforward drive away.
Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. A lovely family.
We were made very welcome . We arrived and asked if we could have dinner . That was not a problem . All freshly cooked with local products . Breakfast too .
The bed was extremely comfortable . The room very clean and peaceful.
