The host met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The property was well equipped, spacious and had a lovely outside area/garden. The apartment was located in a quiet side street away from the busy main road. We would stay again if in the area.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a cycling holiday. The location is excellent - 10-15 walk to centre of town, 2-3 to a large supermarket and a short bike ride to join the cycle path along the Marne and its canal. The owners have made an attempt to modernise the decor downstairs but it remains a little dated. But comfortable and clean.
The garage was good for storing our bikes and we were able to park our car on the street outside (not enough room in the garage!)
Large garden and would be a great place for pet owners (even bowls in the hallway!)

We stayed for a night stop-over during a motorbike trip. The hotel met our expectations, with clean rooms and facilities. We didn't really have time to explore Saint-Dizier downtown, which is not far from the hotel but definitely not walking distance away. Private parking with cover for our motorbikes was arranged free of charge.

We love this hotel.
We love this hotel. We stop here every year coming back from Italy. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly, nice and helpful people. We have never had a problem there. The restaurant next door is very good too. The food has rustic and up-to-date food.
The hotel is situated in a secluded walled garden in the centre of Saint-Dizier. You'll find chickens roaming around the grounds and their eggs are available to enjoy at breakfast time. Breakfast included an excellent selection of breads, cheeses, pastries and fruit. Our room was spacious, very well decorated and especially quiet. The owners live in the main building (pictured) and the rooms are located in the adjacent renovated coach house.
We arrived a little earlier than expected but were able to park , drop off our bags and visit the town centre which is very close to the hotel before returning to start our stay. Our room was perfectly adequate and Madame's breakfast was superb.
For a low price this is full facility hotel accommodation. Clean, functional. Good buffet breakfast, including hot food. There are several food outlets in reasonable (10 - 15 minutes) walking distance.
