Saint Denis is unique.
Saint Denis is unique. It is not Paris, but it has its own multicultural, multiethnic culture. It is generally safe, but noisy and doesn’t have the same rules as living in central Paris!
Late night travelling is not recommend, unless with a companion or taxi.
I don’t feel unsafe there, but if you are hoping for the quintessential ‘Parisian experience’, I’d strongly suggest you stay within the circular road surrounding central Paris..However, if you want to experience the real multiethnic colourful rainbow of Paris, then this is the place for you!

Ideal location for attending matches at the Stade de France. The Basilica houses the Royal necropolis and was well worth a visit . There are some restaurants although many were closed at the weekend. Easy access to central Paris by train.

This is an apartment building not a hotel. We arrived when we said we would and was unable to find anyone to let us in. In the end we waisted an entire day and had to stay some where else. For us this was a scam.

There's an energy about the area and it has a community feeling that was lacking in other areas. People were extremely helpful even though we had very little French. At the famous sights security was very evident with armed police and police vans everywhere giving the place a very sombre atmosphere. Due to the protests and riots it wasn't the best time to visit Paris, but around our apartment building there was a very relaxed feeling.
A great little apartment, it's really hard to find affordable places in Paris, this was good luck indeed. From St Denis it's 3 tram stops and 8 min walk, that's no real strain ... and so good to have a place to yourself, with all facilities - and Netflix etc loaded on the big TV too ! Add in great security, friendly host couple, rainfall ++ shower and a super-quiet neighbourhood - no real reason to pass this offer by 🙂
The apartment is very spacious, cozy and quiet. Perfect for a good night rest and visit to Paris; the subway was 700m from the apartment. There are two separate bathrooms it 's more comfortable than a family room. There is an excellent bakery just around the corner which is perfect for breakfast. Price/quality the place was perfect.
Property was as described in the note on booking.com. Clean and exact as pictures. Host Jean was helpful and stayed back to support the late arrival of our flight.
Very near to the RER B station and going into Paris and all attractions was easy and within few minutes.
Perfect location for the Stadt de France and RER train station - 15 minutes walk. Friendly and helpful staff and clean, comfortable rooms. 15 minute train journey to the centre of Paris and lots of shops, bars and restaurants close to the hotel.
Lovely clean hotel and the rooms were bigger than most in Paris. The facilities were good and all the staff we met were very helpful and nice. The night staff were exceptionally helpful and served us drink after the concert.
at least the train station it's not that far from the hotel so easy reaching by walk and just two stops from gare de lyon ,from there its easy to move all around Paris ,cause there is the most base of connection
The host was communicative and responsive, and the apartment was pretty comfortable and had everything we needed for a very brief stay before flying out of Paris the next day. It was very affordable.

This aparthotel is perfect for a great value for money, central Paris location. It has excellent access to the metro with plenty of shops and take away restaurants to cover any needs.
We found the rental quickly and we were able to make plans quickly. The apartment is close to the train station for easy access to Paris and there were grocery stores close by.
