Saint Denis is unique.
Saint Denis is unique. It is not Paris, but it has its own multicultural, multiethnic culture. It is generally safe, but noisy and doesn’t have the same rules as living in central Paris!
Late night travelling is not recommend, unless with a companion or taxi.
I don’t feel unsafe there, but if you are hoping for the quintessential ‘Parisian experience’, I’d strongly suggest you stay within the circular road surrounding central Paris..However, if you want to experience the real multiethnic colourful rainbow of Paris, then this is the place for you!

Ideal location for attending matches at the Stade de France. The Basilica houses the Royal necropolis and was well worth a visit . There are some restaurants although many were closed at the weekend. Easy access to central Paris by train.

This is an apartment building not a hotel. We arrived when we said we would and was unable to find anyone to let us in. In the end we waisted an entire day and had to stay some where else. For us this was a scam.

There's an energy about the area and it has a community feeling that was lacking in other areas. People were extremely helpful even though we had very little French. At the famous sights security was very evident with armed police and police vans everywhere giving the place a very sombre atmosphere. Due to the protests and riots it wasn't the best time to visit Paris, but around our apartment building there was a very relaxed feeling.
We were visiting Paris for RWC. We have walked from Gary Da Nord station, took us around 40min, so not that bad! It’s actually a nice walk. The stadium was not far away, however due to road closures we had to take a train for 1 stop. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was ready before the usual check in time. Room appeared to be smaller than in the picture however the bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was small and not much space ,but all clean, no issues. Overall good hotel for affordable price. Would def come back
The apartment is located not far from Saint Denis subway station and also in the walking distance from Aerobus to Paris Beauvais airport which is convenient in early hours.
There are small useful things - like towels, soap, even toothbrushes and toothpaste etc. which makes your stay comfortable. The host Walid is easy to approach when you have any question.
JP met us past the specified check in time as we were coming from Disneyland Paris and he was very accommodating. He took his time to explain everything with the keys and accommodations despite the late hour. He went above and beyond, providing information on trains near the apartment and recommendations. He was very responsible to my texts as well.
The place is relatively big for Paris, it has a nice indoor terrace. The beds were comfortable and is a very quiet building, allowing for good rest. It has easy access to the subway that takes you to Paris in 30 mins.
The parking spot is good and secure.
Plenty of space, quirky apartment with lots of character, helpful and friendly owner, good communication. Supermarket nearby and boulangerie with great pastries next door. Easy to use the metro to get to central Paris.
Liked the location for ease of access to Paris via train. Super glad to have the washer and dryer. Deep Sea restaurant nearby was fantastic for food and Cote Canal staff was hilarious and generous.
The staff were lovely and very helpful. Right beside Stade De France and therefore perfect for driving to Paris for a rugby match as close to the motorway and ample car parking.
We found the rental quickly and we were able to make plans quickly. The apartment is close to the train station for easy access to Paris and there were grocery stores close by.
Stayed to see a Rugby Match in the Stade de France-perfect location and a nice hotel. Safe parking in an underground Garage. Tram and Metro close by for travel around Paris.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Secure parking. Great location for Stade de France yet easy to get into Paris City centre on RER.
