Saint Denis is unique.
Saint Denis is unique. It is not Paris, but it has its own multicultural, multiethnic culture. It is generally safe, but noisy and doesn’t have the same rules as living in central Paris!
Late night travelling is not recommend, unless with a companion or taxi.
I don’t feel unsafe there, but if you are hoping for the quintessential ‘Parisian experience’, I’d strongly suggest you stay within the circular road surrounding central Paris..However, if you want to experience the real multiethnic colourful rainbow of Paris, then this is the place for you!

Ideal location for attending matches at the Stade de France. The Basilica houses the Royal necropolis and was well worth a visit . There are some restaurants although many were closed at the weekend. Easy access to central Paris by train.

This is an apartment building not a hotel. We arrived when we said we would and was unable to find anyone to let us in. In the end we waisted an entire day and had to stay some where else. For us this was a scam.

There's an energy about the area and it has a community feeling that was lacking in other areas. People were extremely helpful even though we had very little French. At the famous sights security was very evident with armed police and police vans everywhere giving the place a very sombre atmosphere. Due to the protests and riots it wasn't the best time to visit Paris, but around our apartment building there was a very relaxed feeling.
We were visiting Paris for RWC. We have walked from Gary Da Nord station, took us around 40min, so not that bad! It’s actually a nice walk. The stadium was not far away, however due to road closures we had to take a train for 1 stop. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was ready before the usual check in time. Room appeared to be smaller than in the picture however the bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was small and not much space ,but all clean, no issues. Overall good hotel for affordable price. Would def come back
I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Paris. The place was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with a modern touch. Its location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the city and reach all the main attractions.
The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, making it a joy to prepare meals. Additionally, the host was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Paris.
we drove to Paris so needed a hotel outside the Clean Air restrictions ( very hard to try and register for it) and with a secure underground car park; and right on top of a metro station. This Novotel has it all! plus helpful friendly staff and very quiet comfortable bedrooms. We were surprised how excellently it worked out.
The place is relatively big for Paris, it has a nice indoor terrace. The beds were comfortable and is a very quiet building, allowing for good rest. It has easy access to the subway that takes you to Paris in 30 mins.
The parking spot is good and secure.
We were in only for one night to attend the rugby world cup at the Stade De France - the location was fantastic for that purpose and it came with secure basement parking for the rental car. Very easy access from the freeway so avoided all Paris traffic.
Space - 3 bedrooms with double beds and living room, 2 bathrooms - excelent for family vacation in Paris. Kitchen well equiped. Separate dining area (besides kitchen table). Coffee machine.
Marked 9 as there are always possibilities to improve.

I liked this area ,very friendly people outside .Very nice stuff, clean and calm , maybe 100 m supermarket G20 ,post office ,pharmacy .15 min by walk RER trains line .
Liked the location for ease of access to Paris via train. Super glad to have the washer and dryer. Deep Sea restaurant nearby was fantastic for food and Cote Canal staff was hilarious and generous.
