The owner was extremely welcoming and accommodation for us - even when we turned up on bikes and were soaking wet. Bikes were stored safely in the garage & wet items dried for us. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast which was home prepared - yum!

Location was superb and easy to park nearby. We had a wonderful large room . The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great hotel.

Nice location on edge of Bagnolles - Northern France's equivalent of the English spa town of Harrogate. Posh haven for the more mature ladies of leisure seeking toy boys or 'water' treatments . . . La Tesse is a delightful hotel surrounded by greenery and a paddock at the back with a small flock of sheep who do a masterful job of lawnmowing. Nice simple ensuite bedroom with VERY comfy bed, good restaurant with simple but first-class food and a fair breakfast, with full cooked if that's your bag. Delightful proprietor and a very fair modern upright piano which guests are welcome to use.

We had a lovely woodland room which was very large and the bathroom was amazing . The bed was comfortable and the views from the room are across the fields and it was very peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu on our first evening. The location is close to the village of Bagnoles de L'Lorne which is well worth a visit.
