Self contained apartment on the ground floor of the owners property. Very nicely furnished, well equipped and clean and tidy. Owners were very friendly. Lovely welcome. Interesting and different hotel. Lovely room, very quiet even though it was in a central location. Easy walk to the River Charente. Easy parking. We had an enjoyable meal in the hotel's restaurant nearby. Breakfast very good. Overall a lovely and pleasant experience.

Perfect for an overnight stop - we were confused that we were not in the main hotel but was shown the rooms the opposite side of the street and the room was very nice with tea and coffee making facilities. It was not a problem. Staff were very helpful. And very close to restaurants for an evening meal

This was the second time I’d stayed here and the setting is absolutely stunning. For someone travelling solo there is so much available within the vicinity such as restaurants, bars, spa, pool etc. The staff are always very professional and friendly and the rooms are gorgeous.

Lovely and quirky, beautiful chateau hotel. The artists work in the bedroom was lovely. Loved all the decorative touches and artwork everywhere. The staff were excellent. Really helpful. The dinner was fabulous and breakfast too. This was a 1 night stop on a road trip across France back from Spain and was a lovely bit of luxury.
