This was a wonderful large house, which has been lovingly decorated with many amazing objects. Bruno and Roberto were very helpful and recommended a lovely restaurant in nearby Perigueux, where we had a wonderful meal. And for our one rainy day, Bruno recommended that we visit Vesunna and the amphitheatre (remains of the old Roman city) and the Chateau at Bourdeilles, all were worthwhile visits. Highly recommended stay.

An excellent place for relaxation. Stunning views of forests and fields. Delicious breakfasts on the terrace with birds singing. And probably the best bed we have ever slept on! The pillows and duvet were simply amazing! I wish I had the same ones at home!

We visit SAint Astier as our son participates in the local tennis tournament. It's one he always chooses to enter as the ambiance of the club, the surrounding area of Saint Astier and camp site are lovely.
A quintessential quaint small town hotel with beautiful views of the river from the bedrooms. Beds were comfortable, the larger ones more soft than the day bed. Showers large and good water pressure. Breakfast was beautifully laid out, ample and tasty. Town is sleepy but we were able to take in a drink at a local bar (Le Ptit Basque) and later a delicious dinner at the Italian restaurant by the church. Market in town the next day (thursday). A memorable stay!
Lovely small hotel run by the most friendly helpful host Emanuel. It’s in a perfect location on a quiet road a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Saint Astier. The rooms have a wonderful view over the river and breakfast is taken on the terrace beside the river. Very calm and peaceful place to stat fora few days. Highly recommended.
