The bedroom was large and spacious with separate bathroom and separate toilet. The food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. There was a massive thunderstorm on the evening of our stay which meant that our planned route had been blocked by landslides, the owner was very helpful in finding another spectacular route to our next destination in Italy

The buffet breakfast was good but a bit limited for vegetarians. The whole hotel has been recently completely modernised and in very good taste. The rooms are quite small but well equipped. There is plenty of private parking space. The hotel is very close to the centre of St André les Alpes.The staff were friendly and helpful. The area is very scenic and well placed for visiting the amazing Gorges du Verdon.
The location is really quiet. It is a perfect spot if you want to go cycling and want to relax afterwards. You can walk or bike to the small town where you find a small supermarket and a lot of bakeries. I would recommend the Forest and Lake Hotel if you want to have dinner or le clair Logis on the Hill.
Great hotel near the lake. We enjoyed a very good dinner and also breakfast was great with lots of different choices. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Also our dog was welcome and the room was prepared with some treats and waterbowl. Overall a very nice stay.
