Very tranquil area of Roussillon. Nice to take walks around the village from the apartment. The apartment is within a secure gated residence of 21 apartments and the proprietor, Maryanne, was there to greet me and show me how all the equipment works. The facilities are super clean and you can comfortably base yourself here for an extended period. All villages are within the 1-1.5 hours drive across a beautiful landscape. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thanks.

It was an excellent location to explore the villages in the area including Roussillon. Please note however, that it is not situated in any town, but in a lovely forested area near many beautiful villages.

The old property was, we think, a farmhouse. There was no a/c. 40 decrees day. Night too hot. Many door & windows wouldn't open for ventilation. Bathroom glass door panel was seriously cracked, as was panel on shower wall. Dangerous. Some elec. points old and loose. No tv. but didn't mind. Host, Christine, couldn't have been more helpful. Good breakfasts. Lovely location. Peaceful and quiet.

Rousillon is a cute little hilltop village - we had a wonderful stroll and dinner and overnight stay at La Maison des Ocres. I would recommend it for an overnight stop but not necessary for a long stop.

A few comments we read indicated some sort of weird vibe from this town, which made us second-guess our decision to visit and stay in the area. But we are so glad we didn't change our plans - we didn't feel that way at all. We loved Roussillon. The shops and the restaurants were great, most with balconies over the cliffs and very good, reasonably priced meals. Plenty to see and do in the area.

Roussillon is a beautiful little old village on a hilltop with magnificent views. There are lots of reasonably priced restaurants. There is a public car park quite near the centre which is not expensive and free on a Sunday.
This lovely studio apartment was located right in the old town of Roussillon. The kitchen was fully equipped and included a dishwasher as well as a washing machine. The apartment had air conditioning and a parking garage underneath. The old town was within easy walking distance with its lovely restaurants and shops. It was an easy stroll to the beautiful Ochre Trail.
The owners were so friendly and accommodating and they explained everything to us.
Staying here made our time in beautiful, relaxing Roussillon very comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay in Roussillon - and this was especially due to the great accommodation in Marjolein's house. We were lucky to have the whole second floor including 2 bedrooms and a cosy living room for us. The little balcony is great there. Every single room there was individually equipped and a real work of art. Apart from the special atmosphere, we appreciated the warm welcome and always helpful advice of Lisa. Thank you very much Marjolein and Lisa for letting us feel at home in Roussillon. We will surely come back!
Pool was very clean and inviting after hot days touring the Luberon. The owners were lovely and very helpful. They explained the history of the guesthouse of 9 rooms, that it was built in the 70s as the original hotel for Roussillon and the owners have spent last 9 yrs updating it. Every room feels private by way of its situation at an angle from the others, quite unique. It feels very calm and peaceful in the country but still a short drive to Rousillon and Gordes. The breakfast was cooked to order and substantial.
It’s an amazing property. Beautiful home with plenty of space for a family of four and with a pool. Phillipe and Patricia were very helpful and run an B&B Tuesday-Sunday so we actually had the pool to ourselves Sunday-Tuesday. Well-equipped kitchen and it has a washer which is essential for longer trips. Great location just minutes from Roussillon and really centrally located to go to wineries, markets, and restaurants. We had a great stay and would love to come back some day!
Patricia and Phillip were extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a room on the top floor which would have been a problem had not Phillip carried all our bags up and down the stairs. They have a lovely backyard with a heated pool and welcoming garden. Their location is very close to all the Luberons villages too. Patricia made us the most heavenly omelets each morning. I cannot wait to return.
Excellent hotel in a great position for exploring the Luberon. Very helpful and friendly staff; clean, well appointed room; good breakfast with a variety of options and a nice pool for a dip at the end of a long day’s sightseeing. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the centre of Roussillon, where there’s a selection of restaurants for evening meals. Highly recommend.
Eric and Paola were incredible hosts! The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures, and the rooms were perfect. It was our first time in the south of France and Eric/Paola were always helpful with recommendations and helped us have a 10/10 experience on our trip. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area look no further.
Even though it was surrounded by other properties, once the private gate is opened for you it felt completely secluded. And yet so much of Provence is a short ride away. Perfect location! And breakfast was delicious ( fresh juice, croissants, pain au chocolate, omelette, yogurt, great coffee). The hosts Patricia and Phillips were welcoming and helpful.

The house is full of personality with a beautiful garden. It is surrounded by charming countryside and is easy to reach Roussillon from there. Very easy to park at the house.

This was a nice hotel just outside of town. The pool was a nice treat to come back to after long days of sightseeing. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed eating outside on the patio overlooking the pool. The rooms are not modern but tasteful, but the bathroom was renovated with a great shower!
Olivier was so kind and so helpful. He directed us to travel to Lacoste and it was beautiful. He also upgraded us because we were a little early to check in. Very much appreciated. Highly recommend hotel and visiting beautiful Roussillon.
