Lovely courtyard with welcoming staff. Room was plain but clean - no complaints. Breakfast was very nice - I'd eat there again. The crowd at dinner was really hopping and I wish that I hadn't eaten or that we stayed another night to try it.

Rouen is a most attractive town with wonderful gothic and timber framed buildings. Extremely walkable everywhere. Lots of fun speciality shops, decent groceries and good restaurants. Lively with lots of sidewalk cafe people watching. Viking river cruise boats stop here and during the mid-day you will see big cruise boat tours coming from Le Harve. The train station is very tidy, helpful and convenient.

Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed.
Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed. The charming pedestrian street to the Horloge is peppered with American fast-food joints and the bodies of the homeless sleeping under the arches. It certainly detracts from the historic city of Jeanne d'Arc.

Stunning city with beautiful architecture.
Stunning city with beautiful architecture. Easy to park and to get around. Plenty of pedestrian streets. Highly recommend a visit to the cathedral - free entry and open quite late. The Sunday market was amazing - a combination of food stalls, clothing, antiques and books. Could happily have spent a couple of hours there. The city also has a great selection of independent shops and of course lots of cafes and restaurants.. Well worth a visit
We had a wonderful stay and if we ever travel back to Rouen this will be where we want to stay. The staff was so warm and welcoming and answered several of our questions. They were able to accommodate our early arrival and the rooms were so charming. The location is very near many restaurants, shopping, and we were able to walk to all of the main tourists sites we wanted to see. The breakfast was amazing. The coffee, the fresh orange juice, the croissants, etc... it was exactly what you think a French breakfast should be.
Location is unbelievable, closest property to the tallest cathedral in France. Easy access to all the medieval streets and buildings, nice restaurants outside the hotel in the square, but miles of options in the town. The catherdral light show takes place outside the hotel every night which provides a great atmosphere.
The hotel was impressively clean and tastfully decorated.
Probably an obvious characteristic, but the big catherdal as a very large and loud bell that sounds at 8:00am. Saves setting an alarm clock.
A new hotel, in the southern part of Rouen. Although typical Ibis hotel chain style but a nice and modern design. A very spacious lobby, with table games and tea/ coffee possibilities. A drinking tap water is a nice touch. An excellent breakfast, with a lot of choise, including fresh juice. A room with a basic equipment and free toiletries. Car parking possibilities either in parking spot or on street. We really enjoyed our stay during a night.
Beautiful location as my main destination was St, Ouen Basilica and Rouen Cathedral which were within walking distance in a lovely city. The parking was convenient under the hotel with a large enough space for my rental SUV. The hotel was sparse but perfect for an overnight where we did not spend much time in the hotel.
The hotel is located in the heart of Rouen historic central part. It has a special atmosphere with reference to the French literature and one of its most famous authors - each hotel room is dedicated to a character of his novels. Apart from that, the hotel is both very efficient and quiet, and the staff is perfect.
A perfect location if you simply want to crash, sleep have a good meal nearby plus a good boulangerie very close. Bit of a walk into the city but recommend the Moroccan restaurant La Machacha 10 mins away. The hotel was new, well priced and friendly staff. Large bed with a view of the Rouen rugby field.
Family was satisfied with the quality and variety of breakfast. Location of the hotel is good. You can easily use buses to go to the center of Rouen , if you don't want to walk near the river. The bar of the hotel stayed opened until 23:00 so we had the chance to have a drink after driving for hours.
The typical Accor style but less so than other Mercure in France. The room was ok but the bathroom needs serious upgrading.
The location is perfect. The staff helpful. The parking garage is a piece of work. In and out directions in just one lane. Good for smaller, slimmer cars. Be very careful!
The central location in the old town was super convient and our balcony looked out directly onto Rouen's Notre Dame cathedral and the plaza. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean, and the bath well supplied with plenty of hot water and towels. The host was lovely and accommodating.
Very comfortable. Great breakfast. short walk (10/15 mins) to centre of Rouen.
staff very friendly and accommodating, especially Yasseen.
safe payable car park.
Guests can use the pool etc at the Mercure hotel next door.
Would definitely make a return visit.
The location was excellent but we knew this as we have stayed there before on our way back from South of France to the UK. Rouen is our favorite stop if we are traveling on the West coast side
the hotel is pretty nice
The location of the hotel is excellent with all of Rouen's sights, restaurants etc within walking distance. The breakfast was very good and the staff were pleasant. The hotel was clean.
The staff was friendly and helpfull and the hotel is located in the center of Rouen directly facing the train station which makes the transportation through the city so fast and easy.
This was the best hotel within our northern France trip. Clean and modern. Very good facilities.
Parking was a bit tight, but still was the most spacious compared to others.
The restaurant at the hotel is TOP NOTCH! The best duck confit I have had in my entire life!!! The staff was helpful and inviting. A real treat to stay here.
