You will never regret coming to this stunning place, it's shrines are incredible, its lore and history from 10th Century quite amazing. It was in the middle ages, the most important shrine in France, en route to Santiago de Compostella.

It's architecturally and historically, an important place.
A must see, interesting visit with stunning views. The cleanliness of French towns that are this size is a tribute to the pride that the local and regional councils have for their culture and environment.
There is a symbiosis between the stone of the area and the amazing structures that were created by intelligent, ancient craftsmen that leave you almost without words, such is the beauty of that creation.
Rocamadour has all the elements of a visit that stays in ones memory. It has an enduring, timeless quality. A fairy-tale landscape.
A wondrous, awesome testimony to a devoted and pious past.

The hotel was quite charming but small and part of an attractive old renovated building. The pool facing room was small but had a window for ventilation.
We paid for the room around €82. Please be aware Breakfast is not included and charged as an extra €26 for two people. There is no evening dining on site so after a long drive, we had to drive out again to eat. On cleanliness, just one issue. The bath had another visitors hair remaining in it which was off putting and could have been cleaner.
Otherwise, perhaps expensive for the facilities available but very pleasant staff.

The ambience is amazing as you enjoy the views of buildings built into the rocks around you or gaze at the valley you are in.
The shops are a mix of interesting artisan shops or typical tourist ones. Good choice of plat de jours during the day but night time is more expensive as ‘reasonable’ plats are not offered at night. Generally the food is good, well cooked and plenty of choices. We ate at a restaurant called La Table de Cure. Great staff and very good food. Padiriac Cave is nearby and a good trip but choose your times and date carefully to avoid queuing.

This was the 5th time we visited Rocamadour, mostly bringing our friend to see one of the most enchanted villages in France. View from the access roads (both lower and higher sides) will make your jaws drop. The whole place reflects how faith could create something nearly surreal. Seeing is believing. It is worth half a day to one day visit. But, we always stayed one night to enjoy wonderful meals and evening ambiance. Plenty of souvenir shops geared towards pilgrims and hikers but other things for general tourists. Several good restaurants with nice view. Not to be missed is their famous small round Rocamadour goat cheese. It tastes the best here although you can find them in most supermarket and cheese shops in South West France.
We were up above the city with a great view of it lit up at night.
We walked down in to the old city but took the ascenseurs back up to our hotel level after visiting. Much easier to park where our hotel was located than at the old city.
Wonderful breakfast and front desk folks were very helpful. They gave us directions for an organinc ice creamery in the country just 2 km away. It was worth the short drive!
The room was very clean!
Had an absolutely lovely time at this very quiet hotel. Location was perfect, just a short walk from the L'hospitalet to the hotel itself. Walking down towards the old city however does require you to go up quite a large Hill so would recommend bringing a car. The owner of the hotel, Matthew, was so gracious and accommodating and we were so appreciated his advice and exploring the city during our short stay.
The place is great, located over a little hill, between the fields, trees, surrounded by wonderful nature. There are plenty of things to do, Rocamadour is 10-minutes walk away. The hotel is very clean, the room was very nice, the bed comfortable.
The owners were very friendly, helpful, gave us a great tips on what to see, where to eat, etc. Breakfast was very good.
We hope to come back there one day!
This is a gem of a hotel. An incredible value. I can’t believe this was only a three star. Definitely seemed like a five star. The views were stunning and the accommodations were lovely. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and very reasonable. This has been our favorite hotel on our three plus weeks driving in France. Our hosts, Eric, Valerie and Adriene were simply the best.

The hotel was in a really good location, only 15 minute walk to the old town of Rocamadour. It’s on a slight hill and has great views of Rocamadour during the day or night. The room was nice, comfortable and had really good AC. Plus the hotel has plenty of parking spaces for its guests.
This is one of the best locations we have stayed in as this room was fully equipped with a thing you can need during your stay, with a modern and clean design right in the middle of a medieval city. Marie, the host, was very helpful and kind.
It was perfect for our overnight stay on our tour of France. No frills but clean and pleasant and we had just what we needed. Nice shops, bars and restaurants just outside the hotel and very close to the castle. Good value for money.
Perfect place to stay. Bed was comfortable, shower was very good, incredible location. Marie is the perfect host, supplying us with all the information we needed & a beautiful breakfast in the morning.
Thoroughly recommend this hotel!
great location, basic room but everything worked and it was perfectly clean
The staff were excellent, best I've experienced for a long time.
The views were terrific,
the restaurant served great food with a big smile
Staff was wonderful. The simple breakfast was a good value. Our balcony was nice but the room was very small. We would have appreciated one of the larger balcony rooms since the hotel was not busy at all.
The hotel was situated in not to far from Rocamadour, with an amazing vue . The hotel and staff where excellente. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a short stay in the dordogne.
Great hotel, staff were really helpful and friendly. Great breakfast and the view from the restaurant is amazing. Good location for local visits to rocamadour and local caves.
This hotel has a great location right in the middle of town and an absolutely fabulous restaurant! The staff are accommodating and the rooms are a real delight!
