I gave this score as the Hotel and Staff were excellent. The rooms were big and clean. The bed was comfy and we were allowed to book in early. The bathroom was clean and the shower was at a very good pressure.

The apartment was very spacious in the living room and kitchen area very clean. There was all facilities and items provided from iron to ironing board to bowls containers cutlery. The wall had a lovely feature design of the mountains which my 5 year old son loved. Bathroom very clean and has shutters.

As we were doing a road trip through Italy and Switzerland then into France pontalier was a ideal place for a stopover. Its directly on our route and everything is there for what you would need. We even had a 3 course meal and wine at the supermarket which was within walking distance

Coming from Switzerland Pontarlier is the next city with infrastructure. It really is a charming city with a lot of possibilities to spend not only an evening. Especially for children there are many exciting venues and a lot of things to explore.
From the moment we walked in the staff were helpful, very pleasant and patient with two very weary travellers who didn't speak the language at all well! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely shower and was clean and tidy. The restaurant/ pizzeria opposite was really convenient and had a good selection of food. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. All in all, a great place for an overnight stop and we will definitely be going back again next year.
Everything. The rooms were stunning, spacious and beautifully designed and decorated - there was a lovely energy to whole place that made you feel relaxed and at home. Arielle is a wonderful host and it was such a pleasure to meet and to talk with her. Breakfast was superb. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in this part of France again.
Pontarlier is not a very exciting town but this was on our way for a long road trip and we really enjoyed the hotel. We had a good rest in a friendly and comfortable place and that's what we were after. The bathroom was magnificent. It was actually the best bathroom I've ever seen in my numerous travels.

The apartment is beautiful, bright, and very close to the center of Pontarlier. The very friendly owner met us at the door, showed us the apartment, and let us park our bicycles in the garage. He put up lots lots of interesting information about things to do in the area.
Best breakfast of my three week cycle tour in France & Switzerland. Yoghurts and muesli outstanding- any first class hotel would be proud.
