Everything and the owner are exceptional!
Everyone should gonthere once in their life
After 7 p.m. you seldom see somebody walking in the streets.
After 7 p.m. you seldom see somebody walking in the streets. Plouescat cannot be compared with Roscoff.
If you want to jog or walk, from Hyppodrome Marin de Plouescat to Menfig or even to Cam Louis would be fine, in fact quite nice due to viewpoints.
Beware, basically there are no sidewalks in Pont Christ. Mainly 'downtown' are sidewalks to be found.
In Pont Christ you have two restaurants in Brit Hotel&Spa and the nearby restaurant of the Casino (rue de Brest). Otherwise you have to drive several minutes to get your meal. Almost never can you get in Plouescat something to eat between 2 p.m.and 7 p.m. Most stores observe the 'siesta pause'.
We found La Danteliere creperie ok to our taste, but you need to make reservations. They are open only at noon for 2 hours (noon till some 2 p.m.), and in the evening for 3 hours (starting 7 p.m.; Wed. closed)

A very cute little coastal town, not far from some beautiful beaches along the Finistère coast (some accessible on foot but ideal if you have a car). If you are travelling here with a car I recommend also visiting Guissény during the day (only about 25 minutes away), where the beaches are even more beautiful with white sand. The beaches were hardly populated at all (at the weekend, end of June).

25 minutes drive from Roscoff ferry port.
25 minutes drive from Roscoff ferry port. Very little else to commend it.
Because the hotel restaurant was closed and the only other restaurant nearby was fully booked I had to eat sandwiches obtained from a local supermarket, so no hot meal! I found that unacceptable. For my next trip (in March-April) I have booked to stay at the Logis Hôtel Fontaine in Morlaix. This is further wasy from Roscoff but I think the hotel will be more reliable.
Excellent welcome and incredibly helpful staff. Superb breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Also very helpful in providing safe place for our bicycles. The G45 Cycle Route and Coastal Footpath run right past the front of the hotel. Because of the very low tides when we were there I walked up the coast path to get to Porz Meur for a swim.
Beds are quite comfortable, bathroom is newly refurbished, quite cool. There is a small terrace close to the hotel restaurant, one can enjoy evening there. Additionally, the city is
Location, room, restaurant and staff were excellent. The price was reasonable and I felt very welcome.
The setting of the hotel is spectacular and I very much enjoyed my stay.
