The property was an easy walking distance, about 25 mins or less , to Paimpol harbour. Our hosts were wonderful, warm and inviting , the friendliest , nicest hosts that we have ever met ! Véronique and Stéphane provided us with a wonderful continental style breakfast complete with a different fresh, delicious home baked cake every morning, including banana bread, almond cake, Far Breton, pound cake and other homemade goodies ! The breakfast room was used as a common room all day where one could enjoy free tea and coffee .Our accommodation was spacious ,bright, comfortable and quiet. Onsite parking was a real bonus . Seating was available for relaxing in their beautiful, peaceful garden.
Special thanks to Stéphane for helping with a minor car issue with his local garage which saved us a lot of trouble. We highly recommend Chambres d’hôtes “Le Clos de La Baie”.

A friendly town, marvellous local produce, excellent market on Thursday and dining was excellent . An easy relaxing picturesque location. My third visit for the Dartmouth Paimpol Cross Channel Regatta . The marina staff are exceptional and the Hotel Goelo was a good choice to relax in after busy days and long late dinners. Recommend L'Escale , Terre Nuevos and Le Criee to eat at - the standard of service at each was superb and the food delicious.

We were very impressed with Paimpol & the surrounding area,...
We were very impressed with Paimpol & the surrounding area, both coastal & inland, but in full season it could be very difficult to get around & park.
There are plenty of shops & restaurants but we only ate home-cooked food.
The ruined Abbey de Beauport is well worth a visit, with lovely coastal walking areas in and around the grounds. It also had excellent parking & a cafe.
We would recommend a stay in Paimpol but not in the full holiday season.

Paimpol is a large town compared with many of its neighbours. There are plenty of shops and restaurants but we did not find any outstandingly good. It came to life on the Tuesday with a very large market which occupies several streets and squares in the town. The bars were full and the atmosphere was lively.

Nice little town, lots of interesting shops and restaurants,...
Nice little town, lots of interesting shops and restaurants, everything very close by, small independent shops and supermarkets, hardware stores garages and the like, touristy but obviously popular with locals as well.
Perfect location overlooking the port and within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops. We booked the contemporary comfort rooms and our friends were upgraded to the superior room adjoining ours (21) which was excellent. The buffet breakfast was good, everything lovely and fresh.
We ate in one of their restaurants, lovely meal, they even placed a candle on my fiends dessert as it was her birthday. All the staff in both hotel, restaurant and bar were helpful and friendly.
Old country house on the edge of Paimpol, contemporary restored, attractively inside and outside, very clean and arranged. Contact with landlords without problems, but in French.
Pro: kitchen generous and technically modernly equipped WiFi with high quality,
TV with internet access
Terrace to the south, protected
Storage room for bicycles can be locked
Con: Nothing found.
Staff were on the whole excellent, although we were a little ignored at our first lunch meal. Everything else was superb and we would highly recommend the Hotel, particularly for having very reasonably priced electric car charging. Facilities were very good. Parking was superb. Food excellent.
spacious room, nicely renovated, spotless clean, close to center with private parking. we recommend the dinner there with the owners. very good food and an opportunity to meet locals and learn some dialect and local culture.
Excellent location on easy walking distance to Paimpol harbor and its bars and restaurants. Friendly and dedicated staff. Lovely garden. Very close to the beach. Lots of hiking paths nearby. Great place to stay.
