Parking was quite difficult in Orange and you need to pay in the centre. The surrounding areas are absolutely stunning and well worth visiting especially the Gorge de la Nesque, Gorge du Verdun and of course the drive up to Mount Ventoux. The wine region is one of our favourites and there are many fantastic villages to see such as Gordes, Rousillon and L'isle sur la Sorgue (arrive early to find good parking)

After being down on the busy Cote d'Azur it was a welcome and peaceful respite. The old town is lovely and there are many cafes and restaurants to enjoy. The piece de resistance of course is the world renowned Theatre Antique amphitheatre where you can go to wonderful concerts - we went to see the unparalleled Sting.

    Great peaceful, happening town.

Great peaceful, happening town. Nice size for a short visit as you can walk the major parts of the old town historic areas within an hour or less! Cute boutiques, jewelry, clothing, swimwear stores. Mostly independent shops. Saw lots of touring cyclists so the flat landscape is a big bonus for them. The Roman influence is everywhere: working amphitheatre, arc de triumph, ruins, etc. Recommend touring the amphitheatre and then going across the street to the museum. Lovely town squares with sycamore/plane trees to block out the sun. Lots of restaurant choices. Place dés herbes has a tea shop: lovely to sit outside an have a cuppa tea or coffee. Overall a peaceful quiet town of historic significance. Romans+ William of Orange/j’aoute of Nassau.

Delightful town full of Provence history - large enough to have all the facilities a traveler may want but at the same time of the non overpowering size - everywhere is accessible on foot. It also is a few minutes from the motorway so a perfect stop on a longer journey.

Very kind owner, who was more than happy to assist. His English was also very good, so communication went smoothly. Rooms were big, facilities clean, towels good, beds were comfortable to lie in and above all there was A/C. It was a blessing to have A/C in Côte d’Azur temperatures. Hotel is situated very close by the Theatre d’Orange, which was perfect for visiting the Afterlife festival. Quiet street as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone in the region. I will be coming back here next time for sure.

Behind the unassuming exterior hides a gem of a place! This is a beautiful spacious apartment with large cosy comfy bedroom, a living room, big entrance area, nice little kitchen and lovely shower room. All spotlessly clean. This is topped off by a lovely pool in fairly scruffy surrounds, which come complete with cats, a chicken and a tortoise! They aren't pesky though. Set in the middle of Orange the street is pretty much pedestrianised, with shops and restaurants not too far away.

Everything starting with the warm welcome and flexibility to let us check in early to the final au revoir. Our room was perfect, large and comfortable. The breakfast was sumptuous with anything you wanted. The location in front of the RRStation was perfect to catch a morning train. Also a wonderful restaurant across the street. Highly recommend you try this small hotel. you won’t regret it!

We have stayed at this hotel before and would usually score it excellent 10 But not on this occasion, with no air con, and a troublesome toilet flush, and no hairdryer I was unable to obtain any wifi on my laptop but it was okay on my phone. We are booked to return in March and hope things will be just a bit better. Still the best B&B we have stayed in. Easy parking close to town.

The hotel is located on a beautiful street, near lots of cafes, restaurants, shops and within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. The property is clean, very well decorated and well-kept. The hosts were very warm and welcoming, and accommodated special requests to put food/wine into their fridge. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and fresh!

It was a perfect location for us as we wanted to stay in the centre of Orange. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bedrooms were spacious, with a good shower room. There is a boulangerie and some shops nearby. The street is quiet. Really enjoy watching a film in the cinema room with our two teens.
