Michel is a most generous person, and even collected me in Bar when my bike broke down on my way there, and returned me when it was time to leave - I would never have expected such care from a host!
The house itself is clean, very cozy and situated in a quaint area in the little town of Laimont. Rooms are big, comfy and have everything you need.

Frederic was the perfect host welcoming us to his wonderful home. It was the perfect stopover on a trip to the Alsace giving an opportunity to visit an area of France previously unknown to us. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with a gorgeous large bedroom. His food was lovely, especially the tart at breakfast and we can’t recommend enough. We would love to return in the summer.

The property and setting is lovely, the rooms were spacious and clean. Nice little touches to keep my young daughter entertained and breakfast was nice. Take care if you arrive on a Monday and there are no local restaurants open, and you must give advance notice if you wish to eat at the Chateau, we were not aware of this, and as a result had to make other arrangements. It could have also been clearer that you are not to consume own beverages, as this caused upset in our party.
