Everything was really clean and the shower was fantastic - we really appreciated this.
Kettle and toaster provided (a kettle is essential for the Brits to make tea!) and lots of crockery / cutlery, plus washing-up things.
We could park at the end of the road for free (although I don't think this is possible on Friday and Saturday nights).

Our hosts Patricia and her husband were very friendly and made us feel at home. They even shared some local wine with us. The "petit déjeuner" breakfast was awesome. It included jam & yogurt made by Patricia. They renovated the house which they purchased some years ago, very tasteful and functional, keeping some off the original structure. Our bedroom was very spacious with a nice view. Very comfortable bed. Huge bathroom.
One needs a car to get to the gîte. It's near a beautiful lake, worth going for a stroll. We would go back to this gîte should we pass by again, perhaps for few more days as it is so relaxing. Thank you Patricia!
Lovely hotel overlooking the lake. Our room was well-equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, although coffee came from a machine. Dog friendly … and good walks from the doorstep. The location is its selling point; it’s at the quiet end of the lakeside road, yet it takes just a few minutes to walk into the town. This is our second stay and we shall certainly return.
Amazing views across the lake and to the high mountains all around. Our room was spotless with very comfortable beds, great hot shower. Compact but exactly what the traveller needs. The restaurant food is first class - really good - but they don't have enough staff serving so it's pretty slow. We were not in a rush & enjoyed it very much . Lovely people running the hotel
Two outstanding things. The situation right on the edge of the Lac de Nantua with excellent paths to walk round and enjoy the views. And the restaurant which adds modern touches to traditional dishes. The portions are delicate and are packed with taste. Great wine list and good service. Spectacular views across the lake.

We stayed here on our way back to the UK from skiing. At 2 hours from the resort, it was the perfect location.
we arrived at Nantua in the early evening and booked the room at the last minute. The owners are a charming French couple who showed us the studio. Very comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen. TV. We were concerned when we saw the property from the outside as it’s an old building, but the owners remodeled the unit beautifully.
beautifully located on the lake Nantua. great spot for a night stay. really enjoyed a morning walk with my dog around the lake. also the restaurant is very good with a fair priced menu. even though the staff speaks little English, they made sure to accommodate me.
Good room. Restaurant was a pleasant experience, though service was initially a little slow. Location of the hotel could not be better. This is somewhere that we want to return to for a longer stay.
Location was nice and convenient for overnight stop off the autoroute. Agreeable small village next to the lake with nice views. Modern, well run hotel with a good atmosphere.
