The owner, Olivier, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. When we decided to stay an extra night he give us lots of information about the area and made great suggestions about where to visit. The village and the surrounding area are beautiful with plenty to do. The food in the restaurant was excellent, fresh and innovative and the menu changed daily. The bed was very comfortable. We will certainly go back to stay again.

Luc was an excellent and interesting host, and even booked an excellent nearby restaurant for an evening meal. The property is comfortable and quirky. Breakfast was good.

La Maison Céladon was clean and quiet and there was a garage to accommodate our bicycles. The shower was very good. The building dates back several centuries and has an interesting history and ambiance. From our top-floor room we were able to enjoy the sound of birdsong, including the cuckoo (early June). We enjoyed talking to Jean-Paul over breakfast. You have a glimpse of life in this corner of rural France.

Breakfast is always fantastic there with Luc. Wonderful troglodyte. We always come here once a year. Luc takes good care of his guests and has interesting stories to tell. He even arranged a tasting session at a winery that was closed the days we were there. Next time we will stay longer to visit more of the Vendome and Jasniere wine appellation.. Thanks again

A beautiful gite in a magical location. The property was superbly equipped and tastefully furnished. The host was delightful and extremely helpful. Such a shame we just had two nights but will definitely come again.

Lovely Lovely Lovely wonderful host. Better than a 7 Star hotel. He was so nice making us delicious dinner and welcoming us. Facility so comfortable and so clean. Excellent comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious as well. Highly recommend if your looking for a place to feel like home and to have a good night sleep. You will never meet a nicer welcoming host than James.
