AMAZING! It far exceeded expectations! We have stayed all over the world in some really unique places but this topped them all for us as a family! Amazing tree house accommodation - with great little touches of decoration and a huge tree through the middle. Our teenage kids loved it. The pool was fab to freshen up in and others seemed to be really enjoying the jacuzzi later on. Table tennis and boules available. We stayed for dinner which was fabulous - seemed popular with locals also - 3 courses of delicious food - our son was convinced they had a full team of kitchen staff behind the doors to the kitchen but it really was just the incredible work of the two owners who are clearly talented chefs. Breakfast was perfect - lots of choice really delicious. And finally to top it off we spent a wonderful couple of hours using their stand up paddle boards and wild swimming in the Garonne river a few steps down from our tree house - that was incredible - the water is so clear once you are in. Truly magical place to stay!!

This is an excellent place to stay and relax. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfast was perfect with a variety of homemade preserves and pancakes. There were fresh strawberries as well as local bread /croissants. The owners are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble

James and Sandrine were perfect hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the property. They were communicative, friendly and really helpful. They kindly made a restaurant recommendation and even made the reservation for us. Nothing was too much trouble. They even gave us some eggs from their chickens for breakfast! The rooms were all great and the bathroom and toiletries provided were lovely. We enjoyed a game of pool in the evening. We couldn't have asked for more!

Probably one of the best hotel stays of my life. This ancient bed & breakfast exceeded every expectation that I had. The sprawling ancient buildings, the 400-year-old warped stairs, the incredible homecooked morning breakfast spread every morning (including impeccable cheese boxes) won me over at every turn. If you're in the area, this is the place to stay :)

Nice welcome from the owner, lovely room, bright and fresh. Breakfast was OK, not a lover of continental breakfast but the wife was happy with it. Safe parking outside. Liked the restaurant, nice food, excellent host/ waiter.

This camping ground and hotel is 2 km from the centre of Saint-Girons in the heart of Pyrénées Ariégeoises Regional Nature Park.

The Camping is approx a 30mins walk south of St Girons on a seperated path from the main road so is accessible by foot, but up steep hill. Driving there is very straightforward. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were good, with freshly baked baguettes, croisants pain aux chocolats, yogourts and fuit. A hot drink of your choice is also offered along with orange juice. The campsite has some wonderful views, but it's slightly off the main hiking routes from St Girons (which are mostly on the other river bank). The room was clean & bright with large windows a good view and a balcony.

We hired the whole property (main house and surrounding rooms) and couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The pools (three pools plus a hot tub) were all great and the outdoor cooking facilities were perfect.

What would initially appear to be a magnificent but somewhat run-down building is just a facade for some incredibly beautiful and massive rooms. Ample car parking space for our group's 7 cars. Outdoor pool, and the restaurant next door is an absolute MUST DO for an amazing dining experience.
