This ibis Styles Hotel features bright rooms with contemporary furnishings. Located between Lyon and Geneva, it is just a 5-minute walk from the cathedral in Bourg-en-Bresse town centre.
Even though a small room it was clean and well insulated. there are 2 buildings, restaurant and hotel. the check in is in the restaurant. it is just as you pull off the roundabout. the bathroom is a good size. a coffee and snacks machine in the hall. not far from the main motorway through France so a good stopover place.
This hotel was a lot better than when we came a year ago. New owners? Rooms were brighter and more pleasant to be in. The pathway from the hotel to reception was being improved and should look good when it's finished. Also, it was much easier to get out of the car park early in the morning with someone at reception 24 hours.
The hotel is very well placed, being close to the A40. We have stayed here a few times before and the hotel has greatly improved in recent visits. The rooms are more attractive and are very clean. The fact that the hotel has a restaurant on site is an additional reason for visiting.
We spent the night here on our way to Italy. The hotel is outside of the city with plenty of parking space. The rooms are very clean. There's a nice restaurant/café next door where you check in. Excellent place for one night!
It looks like they take care about ecology. Rooms were OK for the price, Hotel meets expectation when you need place to sleep during travel. Breakfast was OK.
