The hotel was easy to find and the staff very friendly. In three months of travelling this was my best Value for Money accommodation and Laon was a brilliant and unexpected discovery. I would recommend a visit to the WW1 German War Cemetery - in the context of what happened in the 1930's it is very thought provoking to see young Christian and Jewish soldiers buried side by side and who obviously died as comrades in 1918.

The location overlooking the cathedral, secure parking available for a small extra charge, having a restaurant next to the rooms, attractive exterior, roomy and quiet bedroom with a comfortable bed. The restaurant came into its own in the evening, convivial and warm atmosphere and a delicious dinner. Plenty of exterior seating to the front of the hotel. Delightful welcoming manageress and one of her staff who showed us how to access the parking.

Good location only 2 minutes from centre .
The studio/apt is in an old building & has lots of character. Stairs up to it but not a problem. It is spacious with bedroom, kitchenette & bathroom areas. Decorated quite modern. Good shower. Microwave & hob for cooking. Free parking down the road but only 10 spaces about 50 meters away.
