The whole concept is awesome (and yes there was an extra blanket for the bed for cool nights). The "buche" is beautifully laid out and the freedom of making a fire at night next to the barrel was just tremendous (wood was provided).
All was clean, worked well, and precisely what you could need, a fridge, a stove, a sink, coffee and tea facilities, and a shower with nice hot water instantly. The shower was smallish: 60cm by 60m I guess (maybe 55cm) Parking at premises in a tiny village. Lake nearby. The host was very welcoming.
Communication with the host beforehand was great.
We arrived at the hotel in soaking wet waterproofs having ridden 10 miles through torrential rain and thunderstorms. We were greeted with a warm welcome

We ate at the restaurant under the hotel, the food was delicious and nice friendly staff.
Lovely hotel with great mountain views. Spacious room. Garden breakfast room was beautiful. Owner was very attentive and helpful. Great village location. Would definitely stay again.
