The Hotel de la Chapelle is an authentic auberge. It may not be perfect (although very close), but it is oozing with character. It was exactly what I was hoping for. Location is quiet, in a sleepy village in the Chevreuse forest. The hosts, the facilities, the breakfast, all were great.
Small local hotel. Really quiet location. Lots of character. Comfortable bed. Breakfast & service. Pleasant garden. Lovely surrounding area/countryside (25 mins from Versailles). Good restaurant within walking distance. Other good restaurant recommendations in nearby locations.
This is a rather out-of-the way and slightly quirky hotel. The room was fine thougn the bathroom was quite small. We quite liked the feel of the place and it is in a pretty location. Parking is gated and secure.
