Mesquer is located away from busy locations in Guerande, which made our stay much more pleasant. There are 4 different beaches around - easily reachable by car, on foot or by bicycle with free parking lots, - we stayed in Quimiac, there is a lovely beach just 2 min from the market place, and we would often go to Plage de Sorlock. You can walk to the lovely Habor of Kercabellec for fresh oysters and mussels, but make sure you book a table as most restaurants are quite small and booking is essential to get seated.
