Excellent customer service from the girls on reception who were really welcoming. The bed was so comfortable. The jazz playing in reception and the fragrant diffusers in the hall all added to the ambience. Top marks.

Menton located to the east of Nice and Monaco is near the border of Italy. A charming city where we found the local restaurants very good. Our favorite was O Petite Corner for morning breakfast operated by a young couple that take great pride in their restaurant and the quality. My two top restaurants were JR Bistro in Menton and Au Grand Inquisitor that is located in a small city on top of the mountain towards Monaco. Au Grand Inquisitor takes a little effort to get there but the views were amazing, and the dinner one of the best meal experiences ever. Each of these highest ratings and I secretly recommend for 5 star experience.

Beautiful Italianate town …. gorgeous views everywhere … sadly , not many restaurants open in the evenings in March .
Val Rahmeh garden stunning … well worth a visit … a short bus ride away …. And the cemetery has incredible views …
L’Orangeraie hotel does great meals for non residents … and very reasonable price !
And take the bus up to Gorbio , ancient village perche … fabulous day out !
The apartment is super basic but very clean, close to everything, 2 small blocks from the beach, very kind gentleman who handled the contract (yes, you have to sign one and leave a deposit in cash during your stay that's returned on checkout).gave us instructions in French (it helps of you know some) and parking is offered at a fee. Everything went smoothly, we loved it for being walkable everywhere and a big plus: Carrefour a stone thrown from your door - means fresh bread and veggies every day.
Good hidden gem in Menton.
It was such a pleasure to finally arrive at the Ibis Styles Menton, after a trying walk to the hotel (there was a better way !). The reception was exceptional by both the young lady and her male colleague (I know his age 🙂) and it was quickly noticed that it was my 75th Birthday within days and we were promptly upgraded to a suite ! We were happy just to get the ibis bed and this was greatly appreciated. The room was expansive , well equipped, modern and well located. The 24hrs free coffee downstairs was much appreciated.
The sea seems right outside the coast-facing rooms and the view from the table and chairs on the balcony is wonderful: morning sunshine and a long view of the bay. Note there is a road with traffic between the sea and the hotel, busy at peak times but also a bus route which is helpful.
Breakfast was excellent and included in our room rate: buffet with lots of options and all very fresh and good.
There is a private beach and bar belonging to the hotel but not in sight of it - 5 mins walk along the coast away from Menton.
The hotel was located right on the seafront of Menton, close to the old town
The room was equipped with all what we needed, we had a nice big terrasse overlooking the beach.
For petit dejeuner (the basic one) we got high quality coffee and croissants.
The owners offered us tips for dinner in the old town and tours in the area.
A very beautiful place to start exploring Cote d'Azur, for sure we would like to come back!
Thank you for making our short stay a nice vacation!
Loved the old-world charm of this hotel. Comfortable room, comfortable bed with very large terrace complete with table and chairs including two lounge chairs. Terrace had a wide view of the sea. Bountiful breakfast with a variety of choices. Friendly, professional, and helpful staff, who helped us resolve a problem with our booking. Great location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and sights.
Would definitely come back.
We loved this wee hotel on the water! Lovely walks either direction. Our balcony had a palm tree right outside. Small beds but comfortable. Could not hear traffic below when sleeping. Breakfast was lovely. I’m gonna miss those croissants 🙁
We also had dinner and drinks often which was nice instead of going back into town. The lemon festival was fun if you come in February !!!
All the staff were really nice too 👍👍
The room and bathroom were nice and clean and a good size. We also had a balcony, which was nice. The location is great, it is close to a lot of restaurants and beaches. About an 18 min to walk to the old town from the hotel. The staff is also very friendly and helpful :) It was also great to have the option to have breakfast at the hotel.
I would definitely recommend staying at this accomodation in Menton!
it's a nice, small hotel in the centre of Menton. The bedroom was small but sufficient for our overnight stay.It was clean and comfortable with aircon. The hotel does not have parking but it was easy enough to find a place on the street outside Breakfast was nice and the staff were helpful. It's the South of France so more expensive but this hotel represented better value than most. WiFi worked OK.
Stayed for one night and it’s a great option next to the train station for the value. Can easily walk into Menton and then perfect if you have an early train somewhere else. Staff were very helpful and took luggage from storage to room, wonderful breakfast included and the rooms are updated as well as quite large. Quiet location.
The hotel is situated very close to the beach and the train station. We stayed in the privilege room, it was spacious and had a great view from the balcony. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good, but nothing special (e.g. no fresh orange juice). Rooftop restaurant/bar has a beautiful view on Menton.
We loved this apartment - it's new, in great condition, with a new kitchen and centrally located. The hosts are very helpful. Menton is a lovely place to visit at any time of year with lots of activities and easy access to France and Italy.
Fantastic hotel in a great location.
Owner/management was such a delight, very warm and welcoming.
Breakfast was simple but very adequate.
Very comfortable bed and good sized bathroom.
Would definitely stay again if visiting Menton.
This is a very nice hotel located in very nice area of Menton.
Only 5 min walk to the beach with a lot of options of restaurants nearby.
The staff is absolutely lovely and very helpful. I highly recommend.
A beautiful garden with lots of Lemon trees felt like a Mediterranean tropical surprise
Private parking under the hotel was perfect
The location was perfect, by foot you can get anywhere you want in Menton
